You guys are saying Adama has zero potential at RWB but without the benefit of hindsight would anyone on this forum would've claimed Moses would excel at that position 3/4 months ago?

It's a relatively easy position to play, you just need to have incredible stamina which Traore has in abundance.

I think Willian could do a job at RWB.  His decision making in the final 1/3 is suspect.  His motor is not.

I THINK I might opt for Oscar ocer Willian as a RWB as hes as fit as a butchers dog and his best skill IMHO is high up pressing/

But if we are going to get WBs then we shoulf be buying upgrades, Nothing whatsoever against Alonso/Moses but id we are going into Europe I want to go un with the strongest side we can get.

Let Alonso/Moses fight for their spot like Willian/Bats/JT/Oscar/Cescy etc etc are doing now.

I'd normally agree, but I can't see us getting that many players in.  I just think that we can use what we've got instead of dropping more money (that seems to be our current transfer strategy).  I'd rather see a huge player come in if we're going to spend (I'm still in the Griezmann dream land) and use players we've already got for cover.

It's hard to find dedicated wing backs because not many teams play with them.  You have to find the right FBs or wingers where the scout/manager can see the inherent qualities needed for the position.

To be honest, they can do just about anything and I'll give them a lot of rope.  I just wanted top 4 this season.  Even if we don't get it, the joy I have from watching this thoroughly likeable squad play every week is worth it.

Thats all I wanted. But asa the season goes on and we are in the race then why not ho for it.

I'm on about building for next season. One of the reasons we were in the shite last season was not strengthening after winning the league.

And I'n with ya on the Griez but as we are short on good depth then we need to invest. And as we got some excess players we have a few quid to play with.

We're going to have issues with that come December-January.

Aina should be able to play the occasional game IMO. Against West Ham you could see that he has the right mentality for the position not letting 1 or 2 mistakes affect him and just going on with his job. I reckon he would do well with the rest of the current starting-11 around him.

He looked out of place at Lwb , but i think he will do alot better job at rwb, maybe try him against boro or when december hits and we get easy fixtures

Interesting read from last July

http://www.squawka.com/news/why-is-jose-mourinho-turning-to-victor-moses/426850

Why is Jose Mourinho keeping Victor Moses at Chelsea?

Moses is England association-trained player. He has adaptation problem in Premiership.

Unlike Lukaku and KDB, he is not very high talent, otherwise, he would be sold out.

Mose has one important merit -  very hardworking (quite opssite to lazy Mikel), this is why he succeeds in Conte 343.

He was on load to several clubs but fail to have stable performance, so no club are willing to buy him (he is association trained, so the transfer fee must be higher)

I don't think Mose is Mourinho-style player, he never be part of Mourinho's plan. However, he is willing to stay and wait for a chance. Now he see one coach can develop his potential, this guy is Conte!
