Ollie 4,400
A MANCHESTER United fan who got a sick tattoo taunting rivals Liverpool over the Hillsborough disaster has been forced into hiding after receiving death threats.Dopey Danny Hornby had the words 96wne inked on to his back. The meaning – “96 was not enough” – is a cruel reference to the 96 Reds fans who died after the tragedy at the FA Cup semi final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest on April 15, 1989.He then goaded Kopites by posting a picture of the offensive tatt on Twitter – sparking uproar from hundreds of furious fans who threatened to break his limbs and even kill him.Read More. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/265566?123Some people really are sick. Spike 12,049
And of course the Liverpool fans drag themselves down to his level with petty (serious?) threats. Do they know nothing about anything? He says that '96 was not enough' and they say they want to kill him, they say different words but mean the same thing.Provoked or unprovoked, they are both in the wrong. Idiots, the lot of them. Ollie 4,400
If you are genuinely happy that 96 Liverpool fans died in '89 you are a bit of a sick bastard but getting it tattooed is way over the top. i don't understand these kinds of people. Keep it to yourself, don't express it and mock people because it's far from a joke. He's asking to get a good beating.

capriccioso 2,545
No he does not and should not be beaten up.To elaborate, I'm not defending him. But beating someone up over a tattoo is not something civilised people would do. Such people are only after attention, pay them none and such incidents will become less frequent. Ollie 4,400
http://forums.liverp...fan-out-of-homeDon't think there's anything on RAWK about it but i'm sure that will come. Here's views on another forum anyway. Also Cap, i'm not saying he should be beaten up but he can't be surprised if something does happen to him. This is a very sensitive subject to scousers and rightly so. If it was us, i'd be fuming.
manpe 10,861
when football goes too far.Yeah, when you wish someone death over a sport, it begs the question "what is going on?" As if people weren't divided and hated for different petty things already, but such football rivalry is pathetic really. I presume in England it's pretty bad, I've seen quite a few people on here saying something along the lines "I couldn't date her because she was a rival fan". If entertainment starts making serious life decisions, then you know something is wrong. The ones killed weren't only rival fans, first and foremost they were someone's children and had lives outside football. Some of them probably even weren't die hard liverpool fans, just unlucky victims who wanted to have a good day.

Be it Heysl, Munich or Hillsborough, there are just some things that the football community together should recognize as football going too far. It's crazy how Liverpool & United fans actually show hate towards each other because of the choices of something as trivial as what football team they support. There's having banter with rival fans and then there's being complete moron.

Whatever the case they could all do with taking a look at Mohammed Ali Jinnah's work.
Fulham Broadway 17,315
The rivalry across the pennines between Liverpool and utd is something bigger than most know. Liverpool fans at every Utd game still sing the '''Whos that lying on the runway ...''song. Other clubs fans stopped singing that in the 80sFans have always said and sung more than they meant. Django 83
I can understand the reaction but these kind of idiots are best ignored. Luckily, both sets of fans tend to have a bit more sense that this in general.
