I dont understand why people are expecting us to buy players such as Falcao or Cavani.. they're both their teams no.1 strikers and they'd cost an absolute fortune! We've already spent a huge sum of money on Hazard, Marin, and Oscar. Plus its pretty obvious that we are trying to build our team around Torres..(buying all of these creative midfielders and the 4-2-3-1 formation that Rafa Benitez used to use at Liverpool when Torres was in top form)

I think someone like Berbatov would be great! He's a quality player, he's proven the Premiership, and he's gonna be cheap as Man Utd dont want him anymore

Bring in a young striker or two or an emerging talent! Lets not blow the budget on this! Newcastle is a prime example where you dont have to spend a fortune to find a quality striker or two.

For me , Torres will never be back , he lost something, even with spain he wasn't that good , its my opinion of course.A good striker dont need Hazard-Mata-Oscar behind him to score , he scores from a semi-occasion , even if Torres finish the season with 15 goals in the PL , it's not that good.

Hate to bump a thread but didn't want to clutter another thread. I think the absolute perfect signing for us would be neymar. Ticks all the boxes, young, resell value, super talented etc. Think the Brazilian league finishes soon so maybe an unexpected deal could yet be done. Personally hope so
