more Gold medals in the bag. the velodrome is rocking.

gutted for Victoria Pendleton. rules are rules and all tho..

Yeah, its looking good, pretty much guarenteed one in the team pursuit... and yeah providing the rules stay the same for all then that is fair enough..

Did the Chinks get DQ'd in the final too? i missed that. I'm gutted for Nail Varnish (had to) more because that was her ONLY shot at EVER getting a medal in a home Olympics.

Chris Hoy = Legend. Now he's the greatest GB Olympian ever. They Broke the WR too, awesome stuff. Hope we can win the pursuit tomorrow. Been a good day tho, aint it.

just checked Wiki to see if Ian Thorpe (AKA Zlatan's brother from another mother (Or father)) is gay, quite inconclusive but he denies the charge. I have my doubts.

yeah but unlike ours because it was in the final 2 they just dropped down to silver. you drop down to the bottom of whatever round you are in.

i agree. it was more Pendletons fault if anything too but can`t be too hard on her an honest mistake..not like she was trying to cheat,just one of those things.

there`s been WR`s broken several times today. possibly the most medals won by GB in a single day for many many years if not ever.

I think Daley Thompson is our best because he's doing different events and the training must be grueling. I have lots of respect for decathletes and Gymnasts because they aint just training on one thing/apparatus 100%. To win a Gold medal at 100 metres, high jump, shot put, long jump, 400 metres, 110 metre hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and then a horrible 1500 metres... and to win back to back Olympics' doing it.... Take a bow.

Note: Ryan Lochte just got Bronze.... talk about holding it back for the medley...

Well it was nice to see our women break the track world record..... for 2 fucking minutes. Fucking Chinese. Is there anything they don't do? Well, apart from proper sport?

And now our Women have been disqualified WTF!! Stupid bitch whoevers fault that was.

Those were last games of group stage, they (Korea x 2, China, Indonesia) all wanted to lose the games deliberately because in the round-robin format, losing one game can ultimately lead to an easier match-up in the next round. They have been disqualified after being accused of "not using one's best efforts to win".

We will have several more then, we all know China will win golds in Diving, Badminton and Table Tennis..... :Goober:

TBH, we will end up very close I think. I'm surprised how under-performed Russia is this year.

but we got swimming down pact and womens gymnastics just won gold all round.

we will pick up volleyball (beach and gym) aswell.....too bad track belongs to jamaica hahaha

by the way (not being ignorant or anythin im learnin mandarin in school)

Yeh you guys dominated Swimming, Australia was unexpectedly bad this year.
