capriccioso 2,545
But if everyone's saying there's going to be a terrorist attack on the 27th and they know a lot of people know this surely common sense will prevail and they will not follow it through? How many of these cards have been correct? How many have been wrong? How many events have been predicted before they had happened, not fitted in to match a card after an event?I respect your views and opinions, but I think it'll take some serious convincing to get many members around...On an unrelated note, I have omitted "Nominator" from my custom title. You should remove "Gamemaster", as neither of those titles will mean anything now the Prediction League is gone.

I'm not even convinced by it myself, because it sounds crazy. I will just wait 'till 27th of July and then either stop believeing this or think about it. silviupastean 135
You do realise that its a simple card game made up by a geek in his bedroom two decades ago? You have to be a fucking moron to think he was given secret plans 20 years in advance of an evil Skeletor like plan for total destruction and global dominance.Good god are people this paranoid and braindead? And this thread was posted by a moderator.they didn't even know the olympics will be in london at that time...

And this thread was posted by a moderator.Yes, it's the downside of the internet. Along with easily accessible information has come easily accessible nonsense that just enforces some ridiculous confirmation bias. I have always found occam's razor to be a sound principle. There are lots of books on why people believe in conspiracy theories (much more prevalent and understandable in closed societies where real information and lies are easily confused and where the governments really are spying on you all the time.) There are so many ridiculous elements in conspiracy theories (the basic lack of understanding of chance or randomness, false attributions, post facto logic, the complete lack of any convincing motivation for the conspiracy, of how difficult it really is to keep secrets even between 1 or 2 people never mind tens of thousands, etc..) To me, the most ridiculous thing about this mentality though is the complete lack of understanding of how plans will always go awry. The more complicated the plan, the more that will go wrong.Something as simple as meeting a friend for a coffee will go wrong a bunch of the time (bad traffic, someone jumped in front of a train, one of you gets sick, etc...) As the plan gets more complicated, what can go wrong grows exponentially. If you've ever undertaken a big task (say, starting your own business or project) you know that a whole bunch of things will go differently than you had planned. And that's one person doing a few things. The idea that thousands of people can secretly do these things for vague reasons and never once get caught is just beyond ridiculous. coolhead23 1,147
All i can say here is : Empty mind is a devil's workshop. People actually have so much time to think, then plot it out and connect a card game to a catastrophic event and create videos out of it with their justifications and then involve other fools like me to actually watch it.Wish if these minds were used for productive stuff, the world would had been a safer and better place to live in. I actually never bought the book because I didn't like the movie as much as the Da Vinci Code. I guess it's true: Never judge a book by its movie! BlueSanti 290
Um no. What happens is that when an event happens, its afterwards that people then try to shoehorn it to things like the card game and then scream "OMGZ EVIL ILLUMINATI DID IT IT!!!!11!1!!!!!!!!". Look at the cards themselves. They are vague and can easily be put into anything to what people see.Where is your nearest mental health institute? I think you need to take something to calm your paranoia.I think we got Illuminati over here Anyway 2nd video is just uther shit. Some pixar movies and shit, that dude who made the video was pretty high that day.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I don't know about Illuminati specifically but I do sort of have a hunch that there is a secret Society that has a big influence on how the world is run.
