Not claiming he is, or claiming he isn't. I watch far too few German or Spanish games. Few better players than him in England though

The only players I rate higher than him in the league are Aguero,Silva,Toure and Di maria. he's definitely a top 5 player now that Rooney and RVP have gone downhill.

I allways think your posts make alot of sense, seems like you know what your talking about, so my question is how do you see his evolution the coming years?

Goals are always enough to replace performances. For example it doesn't matter if he scores 2 goals a match and be a passage for 60 mins. I want that from Hazard too even if it means he scarifies a bit of constantly making amazing runs only to have the move ended up wasted due to different reasons.

That is ironical because the most common complaint people have about Hazard is that he only unleashes his full talents in an isolated patch or two during games. The boy can't win.

He's already on the right path. He's unlikely to become a goal machine as that's just not his game as he doesn't seem to possess the finishing ability and ruthlessness of players like Ronaldo, Bale, Reus, Neymar et al. He should focus on maximising his strength by becoming more creative and for this his decision making, passing (especially diagonal ones) and crossing will have to improve and I could see him evolving into someone like Robben which would put him right in the elite category in the future. He's added the aggression and directness to his game this season which is a big step in the right direction.

I thought he played really well today considering he was a second fullback and rarely saw the ball in attacking areas. He played a much bigger impact in the game than City's star attacking players Aguero and Silva and those guys saw much more of the ball. Scary to imagine the damage he would have done if we dominated possession in advanced areas like City did today.

I thought both Eden and Cesc were completely wasted today doing defensive work most of the time. Why the hell we choose to play without the ball when we have so many great creative players that are good on the ball?

Riddle me that. We would have beaten them if we actually came out to play. I'm sure of that. Not from minute one but at least as the game evolved. We couldn't even control the game with 10 men.
