Another elite performance in all aspects except one. Except one.. LOL. The same one. Call me a perfectionist but to this dayyy, I cannot and will never understand Eden Hazard. He brings me sooo much joy. But I will never understand him. The one aspect I'm referring to is his shooting.. or lack thereof. 

Let me shoot a few stats at you because I was so baffled.. I had to do some research: Eden Hazard averages 1.1 shots per game. Eden Hazard averages 0.6 shots outside of the box per game. Today marks the 10th Premier League game where Eden Hazard has failed to register a shot. That is absolutely shocking.

He has taken 32 shots in 29 Premier League appearances this season. Meanwhile, players in his quality bracket.. The Bale's, the Reus', the Griezmann's are all well into their 100s for registered shots this season. *Cristiano Ronaldo has registered 300+ shots this season * but that's beside the point.

We wonder why he rarely scored this season.. and we say shit like, Eden Hazard is not a goal scorer, he'll never hit 30 (more or less) a season. And yes, we are right. But he can. He is capable. He just DOES NOT shoot the fucking ball. For the life of me I will never understand why, as an attacking player who can create space for himself like Eden can because of his turn of pace and quick feet.. AND he has a good left foot as well. I don't get whyyyy he doesn't shoot more.

Yeah I don't get it either lol. These Ronaldo comparison will never come to fruition if the guy doesn't try and back his performances in goals. He's absolutely brilliant at everything else. Dribbling, vision, skill, first touch, getting into the box. 

But then you have games like Tottenham where he could've had 2-3 goals. Was it not for a lack of pass by Costa, Hazard would've scored much earlier in that game and he could've bagged himself a brace and a win for us.

This is amazing lol. Stats tell an accurate picture in this one instance on shooting. 1.1 shot a game  

Strangely, this is very Willian reminiscent. Prior to this season he had all the correct attributes, not quite on the high scale as Hazard but we're being relative. Willian could run at the defence, with penetrating runs into the box or out wide. But his decision making was atrocious. Passing when he should shoot or shooting when he should pass.

Never really came across as captain Material to me.  At least not at this stage of his career.

He got the vice captaincy because of his status and to make him feel important. If Vermaelen wasn't injured all of the time and actually played, it would have probably been him.

Messi was captain when Argentina reached the World Cup final and everyone knew Mascherano was the real leader of that team. It's one of the few good moves by Wimots, his performances for Belgium have improved alot. 6 goals in his last 8 games for them.

I think it is fair to say he is back.

I think it is also fair to say his bad period has also to do with the team not playing the ball to him.

Pas the ball to Hazard is the key to win games, somebody has to tell this to Pedro, Willian Costa fabregas and Oscar
