Sideshow Luiz 2,310
Transfer window isn't officially open yet. I believe nothing until the club makes an official announcement and/or we see the player holding the shirt.
Namika 922
Eden Hazard: Won the most penalties (6), was fouled the most times (145) & got the 2nd most assists (16) in the top 5 leagues this seaso
DDA 9,941
There is still a slight possibility this might not happen seeing as everyone is going simply on a tweet! Imagine if he was to change his mind again! The uproar would be monumental!
Nic! 301
Really hope this doesn't turn into a scenario like this:- Board unhappy with Hazard leaking info before anything is finalised- Hazard feels disrespected or feels like he's been personally attacked even before he signed- Hazard changes mind
Kojo 4,676
I agree, it's got me really nervous he has to sign after the England game... really hope we still get the lad. Because he might just be a fantastic player.
bababoom 4,478
Will he get booed by the England fans (Chelsea fans excluded)?Doubt it mate, at least i hope not, it will be pretty embarrassing if we do. I hope he does well on Saturday, but obviously i want England to win, 4-3 to England should do it, Hazard Hatrick (got a ring to it)
bababoom 4,478
I heard that he was allowed to post that on twitter, but he's not allowed to have any interviews until he does one for CTV.
Thor 2,717
Well a compromise then?Gotze is bigger talent and potential, but Hazard is better player now, and still has a lot to show and potential is big too.Hazard already achieved two best french player avards, while Gotze remains as 'talent'.Ignore that. It's not even particularly close as to who is the better player now/has more potential/etc. Hazard impacts the game on so many more levels, and is so good at creating whether it be from the wings or the middle. His stats speak for themselves, and you'll be even more impressed when you finally get a chance to watch him. I don't want to hype people up into a false sense of excitement, but the kid is insanely good.

He is coming to chelsea. He has a point though.. nothing is set in stone. Just because he tweeted 'I'm joining the Champions of Europe' doesn't mean he is 100% ours! He wouldnt refer to United as champions of Europe because they aint, they were in 2008 but not anymore.

I mean look at Mikel and his United history. It will happen for maybe a few minutes at club level, at the very beginning but I expect it too end quickly. If he signed for United of City the Manchester fans wouldn't let go and it'd be a whole different story. Let's not forget he doesn't dive, has always been a honest player on and off the pitch ( just a burger incident). We can have the media to blame for their demonisation of him. The interviewers would ask him what about Tottenham for example and he'd answer them with the generic rhetoric complementing each club, hence the accumulated quotes.Even earlier on SSN they talked to a french footballing expert about his apparent 'ego' and he quickly dismissed it. I've been watching him since his teens and he's always seemed like a top guy.
Jase 43,479
If I'm not being paranoid in any way here, calling us 'Champions of Europe' or 'Champions League winner' has a nicer ring to it.

All that I'm saying is though, he CAN still change his mind and there is always that possibility until he has signed along the dotted line at the bottom of his new CFC contract. I would hate to see him do that and all of us beloved Blues crash down to Earth with an almighty thump!
