The big key to win elections is promises.
All you have to do is find them.
You don't have to fulfill the promises and your promises can be as vague as you like.
But you have to find them.
One possible world record is Andreas Papandreou in 1981.
Promises to abolish university entrance exams, so everyone could go to university without having to pass exams.
So as those exams were called "panhellenic exams" he says to the crowd "we shall abolish the panhellenic exams".
Afte becoming prime minister what does he do ?
The exams stay but are now called "pan-elladic exams".
Promise kept.

Just like the conspiracy theories which are never wrong—Trump won and no missiles have been fired… 😃

While I don’t believe in conspiracy theories one bit, I do trust in following the money. My dad was a cop, so I learned a lot from that perspective and I do believe we are in an era where unelected leaders have a lot of power given their worldly influence.

I hope smarter and far more successful people will be in charge, given that their support doesn’t come cheap. Musk isn’t trumps friend for ex. Peter thiel isn’t there for the ride either.

Is this the end of the career politician?
contrary to some  I do think Bidens term was disastrous. And at the same time Kamala as a glorified unknown VP, wasn’t a strong candidate.

Also suspect ID politics played a very big role in this election. DeSantis became very popular on that.

Yes, but this will go to history as a victory of prejudice and sheer demagoguery, it's destined to go to history like that,
It does n't mean Trump will destroy America, maybe we are going to have colonies on Mars by the end of his term for all we know, but will stay in history as the victory of prejudice and sheer demagoguery.

Like I said I tend to go for the simplest explanation: Kamala wasn’t a very strong candidate tied to a weak president. Democrats have lost the plot. And Trump is definitely *popular* 😉

the fact that the Jan 6 perpetrator has won is really sad for what we thought democracy was, but evidently some disagree that what congress does is democracy.

and to emphasize, I can’t imagine Musk’s support comes cheap.

Well I still remember a prophesy many years ago that I heard that Trump will serve two terms and in the second term in the middle of his term he would killed.

So he is on second term now as prophesy, now weather he get's killed.....I hope not.

But other then that not surprise about this results as I expected Trump to win.

More likely he will die of natural causes now given his age and health tho. 😉

My theory with Latinos, despite all the bashing from Trump against Latin country.

I mentioned this before, Latino (some as that is not everyone) where mad with the influx of immigrant from Venezuela and what not. Because they where getting a lot of help while others that been here got little to no help.

So basically they voted with their wallet, not to mention how much resources it has taken to support the incoming immigrants.

For me I'm happy helping them, since yes I know we have some bad people but we also get good people. But some people when you mess with their pockets they will not like that.

Right on. Very simple concept: more abundant cheap labor the lower the wages. Not even mentioning homelessness.

works even in IT. Limit the influx of skilled labor and the wages go higher.

On the same token, the republican claims of stealing jobs is laughable nowadays though. I for example can work from anywhere in the world for the same employer—only difference is where my taxes go.

He is a charlatan however.
He does n't believe a word of what he says (because he is just too clever for that).
It's a make believe story his story and he could have just as easily made himself into an arch-liberal if he thought he was going places like that.
Barry Goldwater was n't like that. A strict disciplinarian from military background, he was an ideologue, wanted to nuke the world and he believed in it.
Trump is a charlatan.

Few more Latinos voted for Trump relative to 2020 say the estimators.
It was young men below 30% who were for Trump in uneven proportions.

Latinos is a weird group definition tbh. I am from Brazil, so technically a Latino but I’m not Hispanic. Hispanic music or jokes sound really weird to me — sure it’s the same for Hispanics regarding Portuguese.

First time I had Mexican food was in the US and I much prefer it to the bland Brazilian food. Honestly in the south it’s mostly just Italian food.

there has been a point made that there are no Latinos; there are no blacks, Asians, there are people with different ideas and whatnot.

evidently we also define democracy differently especially regarding conceding elections.

Time for common sense and grown ups instead of this incessant CHILDISH tone, predisposition, thought processes embedded into those who do not understand how things work.

Deductions make it more likely than not. Expect it
