Social Media, the syphilitic scab that people keep scratching. It is the tool billionaires use in their class warfare to divide the minions

Musk is disingenuous like that too.

The question someone ought to ask them is, "do algorithms have the right to free speech?" last time I checked, the first amendment refers to human beings.

and he is at it again

the ratio of direct and indirect violent rhetoric from the far RW and/or MAGA is at least 20 or 30 to one versus the same coming from left, and even higher if you look at the Republican politicians versus Democratic politicians (probably 50 to 100 to 1)

fucking twat

he wants blood spilt, he wants civil kinetic conflict (especially if Trump is in power so the orange menace can then use THAT as the excuse to roll out the fascist white nationalist/christofash goon state)

then when it happens, Musk (and all MAGA/far RW leaders and media, including Trump) will deny all responsibility and play the victim card for the ten thousandth time

Musk is giving Trump 45 million dollars a week in a bid to get him in the White House

Surprise: Elon Musk Says He Isn’t Actually Donating $45 Million a Month to Trump

The billionaire CEO, no beacon of truth himself, called media reports of his promised political contributions “not true.”

The day Donald Trump chose J.D. Vance as his running mate, Elon Musk reportedly pledged to donate $45 million a month to a super PAC he co-founded in support of the former president. But in an interview with weirdo right-wing influencer Jordan Peterson on Tuesday, the billionaire seemed to back off that record number, calling the Wall Street Journal’s reporting on his promised contributions “not true.”

“I am not donating $45 million a month to Trump,” Musk told Peterson. He gave to the super PAC he cofounded, he said, in support of “meritocracy” and deregulation—not “hyperpartisan” causes. “I am making some donations to America PAC,” he added later, “but at a much lower level.”

It’s unclear how much Musk is financially backing Trump, whom he continued to express support for in his sit-down with Peterson. “In my view, the Republican Party is actually the meritocracy party,” he said, criticizing Democrats for “promoting DEI”—a bogeyman of the right and an ugly line of attack some in the GOP have used against Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee. Still, Musk noted that he was not exactly MAGA, but MAG (“Make America Greater”).

Musk's qualified praise—as well as his scaled-back donation promise—is likely disappointing for the Trump campaign, which appeared to be counting on Musk to help counter the record fundraising Harris has raked in since President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid and passed the torch to the vice president. “Elon is a blank check,” as a Republican source close to Trump told my colleague Gabriel Sherman. “He’s invested in this.”

Musk, who endorsed Trump on his X platform after the former president’s near-assassination this month, has become a popular figure on the MAGA right; the mere mention of his name drew cheers of approval from the crowds at last week’s Republican National Convention. His conversation with Peterson—full of ten-dollar words in service of ten-cent ideas about the “woke mind virus” and beyond—underscored why. But will he be a “blank check” for the Trump campaign? “What’s been reported in the media,” Musk told Peterson, “is simply not true.”

my overriding thoughts on it all:

The US is, at this point, ignorant (ofttimes wifully) enough and/or hateful/greedy enough, and/or brainwashed enough that they very well could re-elect Trump, plus give the Republicans control of both the US Senate (likely) and the US House (50/50 atm).

You’re a perfect example of someone getting worked up about things. To be honest - that don’t even impact you that much. You don’t live near America and are thus invested…

Interesting you weave the story to suit your narrative. One was registered a democrat but voted for Trump prior so still a Republican. Other was registered as a Republican but clearly in hopes of picking bad candidates for his area and openly discussed how much he hated Trump to those that knew him - still somehow a supporter of Republicans.

As I mentioned - I don’t care who wins. Doesn’t impact me. Yet people like you care that anything gets questioned. You actually think this is a case of right vs wrong and good vs evil. That’s the issue.

Same applies to you. Take Jan 6 Capitol Attack for instance--I lived in that area for *many* years btw. You either know what happened there and agree with the attack, which makes you an extremist or you don't really know what took place that day because your media bubble did not show it.

If you still claim trump is just another regular republican politician then please show me another capital attack like Jan 6th

Ashli Babbitt was shot in the chest that day https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Ashli_Babbitt 170+ police officers were injured and 4 took their own lives within 6 months from that day.

You do write a lot about things that "don't impact you at all" but you seem to come back here to write your piece once in a while all the same. Usually to defend a poor billionaire... to be fair, that's consistency right there given your obvious admiration for the new Chelsea ownership.

Without a fleet of twenty five Rolls Royces Greek women cannot be aproached.
The rest of the story follows.

I mean from what I saw Greece has the perfect mix of what could lower birthrate. Sexism, and just a bunch of broke dudes. If you are going to be broke, you have to at least play to a woman's emotions. I didnt get that in Greece. The men, many of whom seemed to sit around all day if they werent working in tourism,  tried to project a machismo attitude. Women, when giving a choice, wont go for that.

Japan ran into the same issue when their economy fell apart in the 90's, although their low birth rate can be pinpointed to a piece of media 20 years before that offended the women so deeply that it was a catalyst for it's shrinking population:

The fact Japanese men loved Shameless School eternally turned off most Japanese women. This set it in motion.

Lot of inference there and ad hominem. I assume you're emotionally impacted by someone questioning your political affiliation.

Not once have I defended him - or the ownership - weird transition there, but cool.

Guess you fall into the category I was talking about. You aren't your political affiliation. Its not that deep.

If you actually care for my opinions on Trump - I think he is an asshat and its hilarious someone so polarising could even become president. Some of you just talk in here like an echo chamber and act like its good vs evil and won't be questioned on anything.

Lets face it whoever wins the US election , to most Americans it wont make the slightest difference to their lives - bit of tax tinkering here, slight change in which brown people get bombed.

The whole charade is like a TV reality show - which is why one ex TV Reality star is up there doing well

People are getting divided and polarised via social media, totally played by the billionaires.
