Benfica were already SUPER annoyed with us for taking Enzo in the way we did. There’s probably no chance they would’ve worked with us in signing their next wonderkid midfielder so soon afterwards.

so 

PSG can win 8 trophies (and all in a row) in a 15 month span (would be 9 but Ligue 1 ened their 2nd, lesser domestic cup a couple seasons back)

Munich is certainly a good omen for French sides. The only French side to win a CL prior to tonight, Marseille, were victorious in Munich as well.
