Yet he is lauded by many as a world class striker. Simons is only 22, has come to a new league and surroundings in a disjointed team that has suffered with injuries all season. In the UCL, he has been better. I am not saying he has been great, but there is signs he is getting better. I think once he fully acclimatises he will be a very good player. Simons, has not been able to play with likes of Maddison and Kulusevski who have been injured. Even Heung-Min Son, struggled in his first season from coming from a less physical league and we saw how his following seasons went but people thought Son would leave after first season due to his struggles. Fair to say he is a Spurs legend. Simons for instance watching him, I think has been better than Wirtz.
