Clevemayer 764
nice nice... he gets standing ovations for his performance when taken off... and deserved so... another two very well cone scenes from him...thats what he could have done in a blue shirt... one goal one assists, 28 passes successfull, 5 shots on target...and now its 3:0 for dijon... maybe he can help them to leave relegation... i think they're 15th now... after he has arrived... francozola 2,040
It's great to see him doing well. If he keeps it up and shows consistent ability we can have him as a squad/rotation player next season and hence can save money and spend it in another area! Badboy 1,526
I don't think anyone has questioned his ability, he just needs games like Sturridge did and he'll come back stronger next season. Blue Armour
ja1 1,166
Glad to see he is finally getting the break he deserves in loan spells. If he did not impress in this one he'd be sold in the summer and we would eventually regret that. I also think the same of Bruma but it does not matter so much if he does not want to play for us and also as we have so many good young CBs at the club anyway
Tobey Gibson 14
I guess in summer it`s wheter de bruyne or him.One of them will play for us and the other will be loaned (hopefully to a pl club or I think Hamburg is a good option too)

Badboy 1,526
Is it just me or has Kakuta grown significantly ?
skeeo 37
hmm might have gained a little bit of height, that or all the players around him are small so it makes him look taller nice strike for the goal
Kostas 1,468
I guess in summer it`s wheter de bruyne or him.One of them will play for us and the other will be loaned (hopefully to a pl club or I think Hamburg is a good option too)If we're lucky we'll have a couple forwards leaving and you can never have enough of them. There's space even in the current squad for Kakuta, it's the midfield which he won't be seeing any time soon.
Clevemayer 764
kakuta is a supporting striker, a left/right Midfielder, an OM, and an Winger for both sides... so guys if there is no place for kakuta in this team I dont understand anything... BlueLion. 21,491
Going to Dijon is good for him, because he is fighting against relegation. This means he will have to scrap and battle, and these are qualities every good footballer can utilise. Blue Armour
Popular Post! Peace. 4,352 Posted February 19, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted February 19, 2012 I watched the game with an eye. In the first all, he didn't have the ball that much, because Dijon were either attacking from the left wing or using (a lots of) long ball. Though he still managed to grab a goal on a good action (as you can see in the highlight of the game that Jaimin posted). I though he was more involved in the second half and was causing problems to Nice's defense. And he made an assist in this half, with which he showcased what his technical ability and creativity could be (i.e. classy). Overall, you can see he has brilliant ideas in the game (in term of creativity), and has a very good technic. He has already scored three goals, and all of them were important goals. He scored the leveler against Istres, the leveler against Brest, and now the opener against Nice. And all his three goals were scored outside the box ! Fernando 6,585
Great for the info on Kakuta, thanks guy.But at this rate I wonder to myself. Would it be best he stay there for another full season or he comes back this summer? Is he ready to make the next step like Sturridge, or another season will help him fine tune his career? What's your thoughts? I going to download it.

Popular Post! Kostas 1,468 Posted February 19, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted February 19, 2012 Is he ready to make the next step like Sturridge, or another season will help him fine tune his career? What's your thoughts?Sturridge (IMO always) didn't make any substantial step-up at Bolton, against popular belief Coyle didn't let him develop, he merely let him display consistently what he was already capable of on a bigger stage.Kakuta's game on the other hand is not as relied on pace and thus he cannot have the same effect Sturridge had given the same period of time (bear in mind Kakuta is 2 years younger). He has to refine his non-physical & technical skills to even think about making it at this level. On a similar yet unrelated point the improvement that the 18yo McEachran needs to be considered a reliable (=real squad member) midfielder of a PL top 10 club is significantly bigger.
