Its almost anyone though. Theres probably about 8-10 on this forum I'd rather have there than Grant.

I'd rather even have Mark Lawrenson (ex scouser but better football knowledge), Steve Claridge, Kerry Dixon, Dave Webb, Ray Wilkins, probably between 1-2million people other than Grant.

Geoff Hurst, Eddie McCreadie, Tommy fucking Docherty, Speedo, Hoddle, Jol, Dowie, Harford, Rafa, Moyes, Dalglish, Souness, Ferguson, Gene Hunt, Terry McCann, Derek Trotter, Arthur Daley, Taggart, Dickie Bird, Paul Weller, Steve Hickmott, Terrence Last, Phil Mitchell.

and hes an ex manc who is a complete wanker

erm, so is Hughes an ex manc, Hoddle was a handbrake, Campbell was a scouser, Porterfield was a wierdo.

I'll repeat myself, Keane was purely tongue in cheek, But seeing as your going to keep banging on about him, If it was a straight choice between Grant and the monster from cork then it would be Keano EVERY time :smiliecap1:

The new man needs badly to have the gonads to tell Abramovich where to get off, Which why I would happily see Hughes in the post.........................................Or Roy Keane :smiliecap1:

there's been some terrific post here :smiliecap1: but on a serious note mate we had someone with the knackers to stand up to abramovich, and look where that got him, i mean of course jose.

so it remains to be seen if abramovich is prepared to give up his control freak obsession or he's going to sack "the gormless cunt" and bring in "the gormless cunt version II)

in the last 4-5 years 2 prem titles, 3 UCL Semi's, 2 league Cups, 1 FA Cup, 2 2nd place finishes...........What the fuck is the next level? For saying that, i hope Peter Kenyon dies a slow terrible death which puts him through pain and torment for about a week. Him saying Grant can take us to the next level is a complete and utter insult. I never liked Kenyon anyway, in fact i dispise the manc cunt but now hes taking the piss of all pisses.

Cutting Kenyon a bit of slack, he can't exactly turn around and say "unless Grant wins something we are kicking the c**t out the door" or "he isn't really the manager he is just warming the seat for Rijkaard/Hiddink ect.."

I just hope to god that what he is saying isn't the REAL stance at the club!!!!

The only positive we can take from it is we know Kenyon, says one thing -as he did with Mourinho , and then goes along with exactly the opposite.

I bloody hope thats the case because the thought of Grant still being in the job next season is just too painful to even think about.

Just watched it and it begs the question: If this season is anything to go by, what's Kenyon's definition of 'the next level'? He was waffling some rubbish about "building on the last 3 years" but how are we doing that with Grant exactly? We havent even built on last season yet: last season CC - this season losing out woefully; last season FA Cup - this season, well, the less said about that the better; last season, runners up in the league - this season, realistically we won't finish higher than 2nd and are more likely to finish in 3rd spot. So that leaves CL - if we don't win it, where exactly have we 'built' on anything?

The man blatantly talks shit.

The only way we are going to do with Grant is down. There has been a gradual but obvious decline in the security of the club itself and that shows through in the confidence of the squad. A coach whose face doesn't scare someone shitless is a good start.

The scary thing could be that Kenyon is actually being truthful and Grant is safe for the next four years and that he really does believe the guff he's spouting out.

The more hopeful thing is that Kenyon usually lies whenever he opens his mouth, I seem to recall him saying comforting words about Mourinho and then he was gone a few days later and we were appointing Grant to take us to another level.

Kenyon to be fair can hardly say anything else - Grant is still keeping Chelsea in two competitions - if he manages to get us out of those two then I'm sure he'll be gone in the summer.

I can see the gradual decline in the team since Grant took over, despite 6-1 thrashings of Derby.
