termninja 5,290
He may have a name like a pornstar but I like the look of this guy. A dominant, box to box midfielder. Has everything to be a good midfielder but don't want to hype him to much at an early stage.Indeed. Good, I though I was the only one getting that impression
ja1 1,166
Ruben Loftus-Cheek (and Nathaniel Chalobah) named in Mail Sports' '15 English stars you should get excited about': http://t.co/tUSP8x06
ja1 1,166
Loftus Cheek called upto England U17 squad (with Josh Aina and Charlie Colkett). Have to say I'm really liking the look of Loftus-Cheek, big fan of him. He's a strong player, physically and mentally (regular captain at youth level), but very good technique on the ball. Reminds me of a Xabi Alonso type player, but more mobile. Don't want to get to ahead of myself though as he's still very young.

ja1 1,166
I think he plays a box to box role now for youth because he's so big, a physical specimen, but I really like how cultured he is on the ball - reckon he'll grow into a deeper role. Ollie 4,400
Heard about him getting £1.7 million by the time he's 20 before even before playing for the first team. We must really think highly of this guy. I hope these sums of money don't ruin his career. I want to see him fulfil this potential. pHaRaOn 2,131
I had a chat with him before start of the season. He said that he at Chelsea since 7 and he hopes to be a first team player one day. And hope stay at Chelsea for as long as he can and he believe in he own ability to stay there. When communicating he seemed very purposeful guy and very intelligent. ja1 1,166
He recently signed a contract only months ago so not sure where all this has come from. I know someone who is room-mates with his brother at university, and apparently it's all BS. His contract supposedly on £3k a week at the moment.
