He is doing pretty well in Werder. I'd like to see him stay in our squad next season, although he'll probably start of as a squad player. Then again we need some adequate squad players with Marin and Benayoun not being good enough for that role and probably leaving at the end of the season.

No it wasn't. That's so easy to say in hindsight. At CFC De Bruyne wouldn't have developed this well in the first place. He wouldn't play as many games as he is now at Bremen. This has been a successful loan spell just like the Lukaku, Chalobah and the Courtois deals.

Yeh they made the safest "bet" and a good/succesfull one, but its doubtfull he wouldnt have been able to play much games here already considering the amount of games we played this age/what we lack in pivot. And he was already quite good before the year started or he wouldnt have gotten the role he had at werder from the start i think .

Come on, its visible from moon that Belgium has some sick team. Defence, attack, midfield. They are very young and need to gel, but in time they will be euro semi finals material or even better. Only downside I see is Witsel who will need to go to better league if he wants to be realy good in european competitions.
