Two footed and more naturally skilled (= not just flashy) than all our players bar 2, even if shit hits the fan he'll get appearances under any coach as an alternative to Mata.

Lmao I was going to as well

But yeah I can see that, it's just, he seems to young for any prospective managers to gamble on. I'd love him in our squad, but I just don't see anyone taking a gamble. Romeu's only been the u21 we've played a decent amount of games and now look where he's ended up.

Romeu had to displace Mikel, who has been established for years, and the gambles that Lampard and Essien were.

Up front even if some of the current players sign new contracts the only one who is anywhere near being established is Mata.

If we lose the players that are expected to leave we'll have basically 8 players for 3 positions(Torres, Sturridge, Mata, Malouda, Benayoun, DeBruyne, Lukaku, Kakuta). While we are certain to sign more attacking players I expect him to lead the U21 bunch both due to ability and professional experience*.

*Both KDB and Kakuta are 21 in the summer, Kakuta is fucked by comparison of their appearances.

Well if the cynic has hope he'll breakthrough then I'm certainly a little less sceptical haha. Let's just hope you're right though, because the kid is incredibly gifted and it would be a continuation of this crime the club's guilty of, of ruining the young talent we do recruit.

Hope we didnt bought Marin just to be sub!

I fear most that injury will downgrade Kevin abilities. He is young and was in great form, but this injury could mean he will never fulfill his potential...It is always hard to get back after so long time...And probably we will out loan him again...

Haha that's just beautiful.

He'll end up in a central role, he just has too. Players like him are wasted on the wing. Though as a CM/AM rather than a number 10. I see him as a 'more exciting' and more technically gifted version Lamps personally, think he'd be the perfect replacement.

Will be interesting to see in what role he'll play for us. I love him already btw B).

If he fails to impress then he'll be on the bench, if he does well he'll get more starts. It's up to him really. It's not like he is going to have a lot of competition on the wing positions...
