ja1 1,166
For the people asking where he's playing, it's in a 4-5-1, or specifically a 4-1-4-1, in one of the two CM places.
zolayes 14,489
No way in hell he should go on loan next year.He is probably good enough to fight for his place right now.he will fit in perfectly next year ,,,we will be able to rotate properly and have excellent cover for infuries and fatigue
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
CDM: Mikel/RomeuCM: KDB, McEachran, Ramires, Lampard, Oscar (if needed). We will have plenty of cover and quality. No need to buy a CM (unless Lampard leaves/retires) in my opinion.
Superblue 6,372
So he's going out on loan again next year? Wouldn't be surprised tbh.No pretty sure those quotes from Elia are translated to mean that he won't be here again next season because it says so in his contract, i.e. Bremen don't own him, Chelsea do and his contract with Bremen only lasts the season. With rumours doing the rounds about the futures of Lampard and Romeu, Chelsea will definately have not made a decision on De Bruyne yet next season. I believe they initially had a plan that they would loan him to a bigger continental league this season and then the Prem next season before joining us. However with possible squad places to fill next season, and a big season for Bremen and Belgium, the club may have to accelerate their plans for him.I personally would have him back in next season. zolayes

GhanaBoy 104
will be perfect for the double pivot as his play is that of sweinsteiger. Our own deeplying playmaker/ steven gerrard. PS= most likely to replace frank lampard next year and make us complete in terms of midfielders at our disposal. By the way any news on mceachran ( our own wilshere), possibly a comp video of his progress at Boro. so far. Plus both as this season goes on will improve their deffensive games, so i am not worried. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Kevin de Bruyne VS Borussia M'gladbach 720p (man of the match again) BY ANDRECHO89https://vimeo.com/51963855Great use of songs, Pendulum are beast! Anyway, its great to see how fast KDB is growing. He would be great as a Regista in the double pivots. I just wonder if he would still have some freedom to get forward. He would be sooo good in a 4-3-3 as well. We'd have the players to play well in both the 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1.
Mufassir08 2,400
Good so see everyone agreeing that KDB should play in the pivot rather then on the wings or as a no#10 for us.

Bir_CFC 3,455
I agree with the Frank and Gerrard comparisons but does he have the same defensive ability as those two? Until he has that he's going to be a big liability in the double pivot. BLionheart
zolayes 14,489
I would prefer to see him on the wing at least to start with
CHOULO19 24,332
I agree with the Frank and Gerrard comparisons but does he have the same defensive ability as those two? Until he has that he's going to be a big liability in the double pivot. His defensive ability is what he is getting praised for Bremen and what impressed me most about him while I was watching him at Genk last season. That's why I've been saying at every opportunity that his future is at CM and not CAM or the wings. Miguelito 459
this is guy is so exciting and you can tell he is progressing very nicely.i agree that his future position is at cm and ive said in the past that his passing abilities do remind me a bit of paul scholes. in preseason you could tell he was eager to impress but he was really nervous and tried a bit too hard at times. for me i do think he is lampard's replacement. even tho he is a different type of player, i think whether it be next season or in a few he will take lampards spot in the roster.one of my favorite players to watch right now. Kinol 337
did he play today? Its really no idea to ask that question anymore. He's basically a starter now and one of their more important players. He played full 90 minutes today.
