The Skipper 20,609
Chelsea will spend the remaining 10 days in the transfer window trying to persuade #Juventus to sell them Paul Pogba. (Independent) #CFC#CFC's hierarchy are now ready to push hard to make Pogba theirs, and British footballs, most expensive signing of all-time. (Independent)The £70m that #Juventus want for Pogba, who have already sold Arturo Vidal for £28m to Bayern Munich, is within #CFCs range. (Independent)Interesting. bababoom 4,478
I'm praying Chelsea just say 'fuck FFP' and act like Barcelona or Real for a day.
Supermonkey92 1,428
So £54m at the moment? Make that £65m tomorrow. What's that in euros around 90m? Then finish with £70m which is over 100m I think. Take it and go
Diego 433
I didn't even blink when I thought the bid was 69m, why on earth would I be put off by 54m? We have a long way to go before this gets ridiculous in my estimationI feel the same especially after seeing championship sides spend £10m on championship players
nullabletype 987
I'm praying Chelsea just say 'fuck FFP' and act like Barcelona or Real for a day. FFP has been relaxed to the point of near irrelevancy. It's not really an issue.
simonez 69
If Chelsea buy a player like Pogba is clear Mourinho is going to play 433 most of the time, so no n°10 needed.I don't understand why we didn't go for Kondogbia early in the summer, he would've been perfect for our midfield, and affordable. Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
I dont think Pogba would be a good no 10 or a no10 at all ... however he can be a legend if he plays CM and becomes b2b kind of player who drives forward. I think he can play there from time to time for sure.

ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Interested to know just how keen we are on getting him and whether these journos are talking nonsense. If we want him in a big way, I think could easily see Cuadrado and another player going there. I really doif it doesnt come off, it shows we are looking at doing something big before window closes
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Getting him would send out a clear messagePogba is a potentially mammoth signing, not only in fee but how solid he would make us. Matic Pogba in midfield with Fabregas Pedro Hazard in front with Willian as cover/starting too?Hello title
coolhead23 1,147
I think he can play there from time to time for sure.Honestly, if Zouma can play CM from time to time so can Pogba For me it is not a position suited for him .. yes he like going forward but that doesnt make him a no10. CM is the position he should be at and own it, potential is clearly there to be there among the best. Feel that with Pogba coming in Oscar would be able to play a free no10 role and could have an excellent season. This is purely my opinion, no disrespect to yours. The Mak 4,459
I am just happy the club are finally showing some real ambition in the transfer market; not settling for second best, sending out a statement and reaching for the stars.

I like Oscar a lot! always have but if it comes down to Oscar or Pogba, its 100% Pogba right now. Obviously I would rather keep him but he will definitely have a limited role if Pogba comes in. nadavTKL 1,787
people seem to have forgotten that he personally rejected us and barca Us? he rejected United. Dont know what you're talking about, although i guess you can find a BS rumor about Chelsea trying to sign him back than.

I doubt we have a list of target line up and just simply move onto the next. If anything we will wait until next summer and try again like when Rooney couldn't join us in 2013 so we just sign Eto'o and wait a year later for Costa
Mechromancer 262
I'd love another tidy Spanish wizard. Thiago, Isco, Koke...My favorite type of player to watch.Koke isn't a wizard, you know? He has a limit with the ball.Isco is the only one. He just has infinite resources.
