Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Cahill better find his favorite seat on the bench, dont want him anywhere near the starting XI for a loooooooooooong time! lucio
didierforever 7,349
Strange. It's like you're describing Cahill's performance against Newcastle away.yes he was poor on the day. and i wont defend him for that game or the spurs game. but i also wont say (unlike others) that zouma was our best player in the first half when we could and probably should have been 2/3-0 down. lucio 5,418
Why was Cahill warming up at 0-0?i think players often warm up without coming on. idk why. fitness reason maybesometimes you get players doing exercises after the match too

Zouma was one of the very few players that didn't embarrass themselves in the first half. If you think Zouma had a particularly bad first half then your love for Gary Cahill truly is phenomenal. kc_blue

What exactly did he do that was so poor? In the back 4 he was probably the best defender. Not saying that he was great in the first half but he wasn't poor either. He did grow into it though. No-one expects Zouma to be amazing from day one, but he handled himself well today. In a game where we weren't our usual selves, particularly in the first half, he did look good.As a relatively young player, this is a good performance for him against an annoying Newcastle set up didierforever

SouthKorea 38
I said it in the beginning of the season...Cahill is not good enough and zouma as well. Chelsea need 2 cbs in the near future (starting ones)

Kezza 1,965
Terry has avoided alot of criticism because of Cahill. As Luis/Azpi or Iva bomb up the wings, this leave Cahil and Terry exposed. Terry has lost alot of what pace he had and does get turned over when players run at him. Cabella for instance. Terry has has a great season, but Cahill does bail him out at times

Only one of our fullback attacks, the other stays and defends. Not really leaving Cahill and Terry exposed? Henrique
