Got Wolves to Premier league in 2 years, 2 consecutive promotions. Not much of an achievement as Wolves are a rather rich club with already a decentish stature.

If anyone wants to start from League One and is looking for bargains:

- Björn Sigurdarson - a beast striker playing for Wolves, used him as false nine in a controlling 433. Average rating was 7,4. Scored 11 odd goals / 7 assists as a back-up to Doyle in League 1. 30 goals / 9 assists in Championship and at the moment is keeping a bit lower ratio than 1:1 in Premier League (3 games in) while rotating with Mattia Destro (got him for 1,7mil from Roma in 2015/2016 season summer window. He is la machina if trained correctly as he has a high potential). Wouldn't say Sigurdarson is PL material though, decent back up at that level.

- Kevin Davies - starts in Preston, only bought him a year later at Championship level. He averaged more goals than games for them in League 1, by far the best striker in that level with 37 goals and golden boot award . In Championship was a solid backup and never disappointed. Will retire in start of 2015/16 along with Luca Toni.

- Jonathan da Silva - the sooner you get him the better. To me he seems like a wonderkid, a very good argentinian left back, who plays for Estudiantes of Argentina. Will come cheap when you're just starting. Cost me 5mil after a season (milked them with 48 month payment!). Though 19 years old, he will be your starter LB till..well.. you or he retires. 4,5 potential tells it all.

- Joel Lindpere - Estonian winger/midfielder. Averages 7 or above rating in L1/CH. Cheap buy from Chicago Fire, low wage demands, a bargain.

-Wilfried Bouma - free transfer. Bouma especially will score goals for you from corners.

-Sodinha - his attributes tell it all. A set piece maestro with 20 long shot attribute, 18 free kick, 16 corner and all that in League One level means easy goals, thank you very much.

If anyone's interested I can do a review of my purchases for Wolves on Championship and Premier League level.

Might give Wolves a go when I finish in Dortmund. Would you recommend them? What are the board like with Youth improvements and that? What was your first season transfer budget?

Seems a great save to build something with, as I'm sure your starting squad is capable of winning League One and getting midtable Championship. Doyle and Jamie O'Hara big players?

Doyle is great (35 goals in L1), sold him in my second year to regenerate funds as 2-3 good players > a superstar. Jamie O'Hara starts injured and is in reserves, will be a big player if you use him. Sold him as soon as possible to have a good balanced squad with depth.

Wolves are definitely a good way to go, they have decent stadium of 30k+(so no need to bug the board and cripple your transfer funds for years to come), very good youth and training facilities. Do not sell Bath the center-back like I did. He will be good! Coaching staff is rather decent, a few exceptions to the rule but not a big deal to bring in some new faces. First transfer budget... was it like 2mil? I'd keep it for rainy days come summer and promotion to CH. Plenty of free transfers and cheap bargains to wriggle your way up the standings. Wage budget wasn't that bad also, can't remember the sum exactly anymore. Second season you'll get 5mil transfer budget. In PL level you'll get 12mil and a decent 500k weekly total wage bill. Selling players / letting them go will make room for higher wage/price players every year. Managed to do an overhaul every summer window.

Doesn't seem to bad at all. I'd recommend Dortmund aswell, Loved every minute of the game, bar the Champions League failures.

No you were a massive help mate! Defiantly going to start a save with Wolves now when I finish with this one. Want to win the Champions League and Cup with Dortmund, maybe have another 3 seasons here because I have some fantastic regens and want to see them develop. Thinking then maybe try and win a League in a few different countries on the same save as I like playing with regens. Then maybe the World Cup.

Gonna wait for the update to come out to start with them as there is far too many bugs in the game that are annoying me.

Think the game has a grudge against me or something. I cannot believe more often than not (really more often than not!), they keep giving me one (if not more) of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Lyon or Bayern Munich to face in Europe. Always! Moreover, I've always wanted to face a Scottish side with Chelsea, for the fun of it, and they have never EVER gave me Celtic or Rangers. Never!

Had to faced 3 of 4 of my nemesis in Europe consecutively all because Football Manager loves me so much......

It was shit to lose at home to a Real Madrid side managed by Benitez it has to be said!

Nice to screw up Jorge Jesus and Benfica in the final though, after coming from behind and scored a late winner.
