My Favourite films of 2011

- A Separation - An Iranian film which is a must watch at all costs. I'm hoping it gets an Oscar and would recommenced it too all.

- Drive - Taxi-Driver like, a brilliant thriller with a good pinch of twisted humor and psychotic violence.

- Warrior - Similar to The Fighter great sports story subsuming both the emotive and physical fight excellently.

My Most anticipated movies of 2012

- The Dark Knight Rises

- World War Z

A UN representative, writing a report on the great zombie war, interviews survivors in the wake of World War Z - Brad Pitt.

- Men in Black III

Loved the series as a child, and am very excited about the 3rd.

Drive was amazing! Definitely my favourite. The biggest surprise was Rise of the Planet of the Apes which I had no expectations for yet turned out to be a superb movie.

Also looking forward to Dark Knight Rises. Can't think of much else. Was looking forward to J. Edgar when it was in production but the reviews so far have been terrible!

I rarely see movies in their release year...So I looked up Cinema of 2011 on Wikipedia and scrolled right down to the bottom where it listed notable deaths in the film industry this year. The very last listed was Kim Jong Il...it said he acted in Team America.

I didn't know he died. Holy Balls.

The Beaver - Mel Gibson is amazing. A nice and very motivational story.

The Ides of March - George Clooney is not bad as director. This movie shows us how corrupt and confusing the political scene is.

Can't wait for:

American Pie, the reunion - This is gonna take me back to 2006-2007, when I was watching the first 3 movies with my gymnasium friends.

I just hate the fact that nowadays people want a lot of SF movies and teenagers watch crap movies like Twilight. That's why I prefer watching TV shows like Dexter or House MD.
