Fulham Broadway 17,362
Piazon can't do basics like closing down properly at reserve level, what makes you think he is ready for premier league football? From what I've seen hes very nearly the finished article.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2076512/Lucas-Piazon-New-Chelsea-wonderkid.htmlTime to do a Fergie and chuck em in at the deep end
BlueLion. 21,491
Piazon needs to work on his game in two key areas; his upper body strength (he isn't half as physical as he ought to be) and his general off-the-ball running; he's far too lazy in that respect! Fulham Broadway 17,362
If he Piazzon carries on the way hes going, the boy could be out for a loanage.Difference being Fergie would throw him in at the deep end, and then give him a right bollocking as to what he did wrong
BlueLion. 21,491
Sometimes it can work (Ferguson's method), as we've seen with Tom Cleverley, but sometimes it can backfire, as Macheda is testament to.
Fulham Broadway 17,362
Loan is probably the best we can hope for -probably do him good, but rather than the kneejerk sub-contracting, I would rather see a player worked on by our 'expert' back room staff, state of the art training facilities, and more coaching
BlueLion. 21,491
We have a perfect FA Cup tie (at home vs Portsmouth) to try out some of the youngsters. I fear it is too soon for Piazon but I fully expect a look at Chalobah!
LDN Blue 7,903
That goal Piazon scored v. Arsenal was very good, loved the Cantona-esq celebration style!

And the comments on DM saying he's world class? Daft. He's not ready for premier league football yet. He wouldn't be a starter for any club in the league, give him a year or two, don't rush it. Tomo 21,751
That isn't a bad thing...Really?? Personally im going to miss Malouda's 40 yard shot's, Bosingwa's running in straight lines and crossing to the bloke in row Z and as for Anelka's run backwards then pass sideways just a joy to behold Watching Chelsea will never be the same again, although theoretically it actually won't
