Brazilians in general are very arrogant when the subject is football. They dare to say the Club World Cup final was the game of the year, best european team against best brazilian one.

Some were even more crazy to claim it was a clash between Neymar and Messi: whos better ?

People realized how poor our league is compared with top european ones, like Premier League and La Liga. They are asking whats wrong with brazilian football. Why we stopped playing beautiful football years ago.

I dont know about Neymar, he might want to leave to play with the real stars, to other side he might want to stay because he realized how tough will be his life in Europe.

I wasnt surprised because to play Barcelona you must have a strong defensive system, and Santos defense is a mess. Santos only have Neymar and Borges. The GK is also good. The rest of the team is avarage.

No. I wanted Barcelona to trash Santos, so people here will stop saying brazilian league is the best in the world, and that only brazilians play good football.

I started watching PL almost 10 years ago because brazilian football got awful, slow and boring. Palmeiras had a team in 90s that was better than any team in PL history.

Velloso; Roberto Carlos, Antonio Carlos, Kleber, Claudio; Rivaldo, Cesar Sampaio, Flavio Conceição, Zinho; Edmundo e Evair.

It's not that he's a bad player although he has many flaws, but to compare him to messi is silly. There are only a select few at the moment who can be compared (RVP, Robben, Ronaldo, Ribery, Silva, Iniesta, Aguero) in terms of ability. Neymar is also steps below the level of Mata, Sturridge, Rooney, Nani, Hazard, Di Maria etc

Dont think he is arrogant, brazilian press just overhype the boy so much because right he is the best we have here.

Times is reporting today Barcelona paid 10m to Santos, so they can get him when they wish until 2014, when they have to pay another 50m. Well, Times is a good source.

Anyway, I dont want him at Chelsea anymore. I'm thinking about selling him in FIFA 12.

After this game and all that has been written and said in the media about how great Neymar is. Yes the boy has talent no denying that but still he is no where near some of the decent players in Europe atleast ... Does anyone think there would be lot of takers for Neymer at 45M now? Barca has a set team so does Madrid (i mean they dont have to think much for the next few seasons), in the EPL there is only Chelsea who was behind him, dont think United would go for him, City mite, Arsenal dont have the cents in the pockets. The only other place left is Italy maybe AC Milan who wouldnt shed out 45m for him.

Just wondering how would the club president now want to bargain on 45m for his prized asset.

I have been saying this for a few years now, Brazil have not had a good team since 2002. The Kaka generation has been awful and boring. Brazil does not care about football that much anymore, they care more about ethanol production.
