Bit boring around here lately with the international break.

So, to kill some time and hopefully get a good discussion going, post your PL team of the season from the matches that have taken place.

My team - (4-2-3-1)

GK : Difficult choice, no real standout. I'll go with Shay Given, he's the best thing about Villa's defence.

RB : Phil Jones. Just pips Bosingwa and Sagna.

CB : Lescott. Has grown in stature since the move, able partner for Kompany.

CB : Granted he's not played a lot of games, but he's been excellent whenever on the pitch - David Luiz.

LB : Another area with no truly outstanding candidate. Jose Enrique, for what it's worth.

CM : Ramires. All legs and energy, early contender for our player of the season, methinks.

CM : Tiote. Really impressed with this lad, adjusted very well to life in the PL.

LW : Nani. Bit of a cock but quality player and on his way to be one of the very best in the world.

RW : Matt Jarvis. A gem who should be playing for a better team than Wolves.

CAM : David Silva. Is there a better player in the league today? Doubt it.

FW : Aguero. Taken to the PL like a duck to water.

This is my TEAM OF THE 7 FIXTURES SO FAR team :D

4-2-3-1

GK: Shay Given. Wonderful saves from him so far.

RB: Micah Richards. Very strong both offensively and defensively and his crossing has been very good.

CB: David Luiz. Great performances from him and I hope he keeps it up.

CB: Vincent Kompany. Very consistent and a good defensive leader.

LB: Jose Enrique. Great player, and one of the best LBs in the world.

CM: Marouane Fellaini. Tireless, consistent and strong, just what you need in the midfield. He keeps the Everton team running.

CM: Luka Modric. The maestro. Gah, shame he ain't a Serbian :(

AM: David Silva. This guy is just...incredible.

RAM: Nani. He has the potential to be the best player in the world or at least the 2nd best. But he is certainly a better team player then CR7.

LAM: Mata. Do I really need to say anything? :P

ST: Aguero. 8 goals while being a partner to Dzeko in his first season in PL is just phenomenal.

Ramires, Song, Suarez, De Gea (yes him, the GK with the most saves in the league), Bosingwa, Jones, Young, Ivanovic and a few others have also been very good.

GK - Tim Krul - how can you say anyone else? This lad has been magnificent for Newcastle this season and boasts the best defensive record in the country.

RB - Phil Jones - no other choice would be justifiable. He has been a great signing for United, and has silenced my doubts over his ability.

CB - Vincent Kompany - the real reason for City's defensive strength is this under-rated gem of a defender.

CB - Chris Smalling - a selection that may raise eyebrows, but Smalling has been superb for United so far this season in a variety of positions. Vidic has hardly been missed.

LB - Jose Enrique - one of the coups of the summer for Liverpool; Enrique is a class act with both defensive and attacking qualities to rival any other full-back in the league.

RM - Luis Nani - love him or hate him (I'd love to smash his legs with a baseball bat), he's been a consistent threat this season and has added goalscoring qualities to his wing wizardry.

CM - Yohan Cabaye - such a great signing for Newcastle. He has pace, skill and vision, and has helped transform the club into a good attacking unit with good invention and creativity.

CM - David Silva - the heartbeat of Manchester City's team, he will win the Player of the Year award if City lift the title. They're ordinary without him.

LM - Ashley Young - his inconsistency remains a problem, but on his day his ability to change games is unrivalled by most in the league.

CF - Sergio Aguero - nothing more needs to be said than: "why didn't we sign him when we had the chance?"

CF - Luis Suarez - rather than go for that thug Rooney, I've opted for a player that has more of an impact on a side than any other in the league bar perhaps Silva. He has transformed Liverpool with his effervescent displays and he is turning into a massive goal threat. Such a great, tricky player, but also an utter cunt.
