LOL at Mourinho being linked with PSG!

Why would he move to the French league, apart from wanting more money? There is no logic...

It would be an opportunity to build a squad with the vast funds they have available. He would certainly raise the profile of the league, although as we discussed in the ‘Pastore thread’ the potential success of PSG alone, won’t turn ‘Ligue 1’ into the new premier league.

They probably don't want to turn the league into anything... It would just give them a chance to represent France more strongly on European level.

Chelsea wouldn't be the club/brand it is today, had it not been competing in a strong league with mass appeal worldwide.

For that to happen Ligue 1 has to find more investors to boost their finances, it's not only up to PSG to do that... They could turn into a force to reckon in Europe with smart management and a dominator of their league. With big investors coming into PSG, it could make the country seem more favourable to other businessmen also.. let's wait and see how it goes. It could snowball to success or crumble early. If they do well in CL or win it in a few years, it could boost their league's... how to say in English... desirableness?

If Mourinho pulls off La Liga and CL with Real Madrid i can see him leaving, he would have won everything possible their and PSG could quite easily be his next port of call.

As TX said he will have unlimited funds to mould the team his way, they will be clear fav's for the title each year and he will be able to add yet another domestic league honour to his CV.

Yes, he did say that. He also implied in an interview that he wouldn't mind to be the manager of a french club - if my memory serves me right - (and he said that in french lol).
