Juan Mata overall, our best CL player Cech and honorary award of best Chelsea big game player, Didier Drogba. He should get some sort of award for this great season ending (scoring vs spurs, valencia, lpool, bayern, barca).

I have to agree. Most consistent player throughout the season, imho.

No he wasn't, he was world class for rest of the season when Matteo came. But dont forget how bad he was under AVB, i remember those weeks when he made a mistake every game and they scored, from spurs to Wigan to Fulham. And the Arsenal 5-3 defeat was his worst performance ever, every shot on target went in... Like seriously I couldve done better in goal.

But then Matteo came and he was just amazing, that save against liverpool in the final, the way he played at the nou camp.

I must say he's a worthy contender, but he wasnt consistent by any means, not Untill Matteo came but that doesn't count.
