I would keep Anelka on the fact that he was better than Kalou during pre-season, and despite the fact that he is in his 30s, he still has a lot to offer.

The fact that Anelka is in his 30s however makes you want to think he needs to be replaced by someone younger! (in this case, Mata) ... Kalou however has been poor for us recently, and I can't see him playing for us for any longer, so I went for Kalou!

Voted Kalou. Simply because if we sell him, atleast we can recoup 1M pound or something. Anelka stays 1 more year to give us some experience in the CL (his best competition, apart from the penalty shootout).

Plus Anelka will always get another role of DM in the team, while Kalou will be running into defenders with no purpose and claiming for penalties and fouls.

Anelka for me, he has more quality and has proved it. While Kalou hasnt. I know we all get angry at Anelka because he slows down the play so much, but sometimes we forget thathe's not a winger hes a striker. When he gets the chance to play as a striker he does well, like in pre season.
