MrBlueGuy 1,552
Another player who will never make it here, being used by us to farm and make money.
nyikolajevics 2,700
He should've gone League One. We all saw how well Bamford's done from starting there.Stupid kid. What if he is not good enough to play in League 1? What if Bamford is much more talented than him?He seemed to be an outstanding player at the age of 16-17 but that means nothing.. I (and I belive many of us) though Kakuta was going to be a world class player...

If he's not good enough for League One now then sell him as he'll never be good enough for Chelsea/any decent club in that case.

I think League One teams were not after him at all if we found him a Russian second divison team.
OneMoSalah 8,886
The irony is if you go to the first page of this thread, there were Celtic fans saying the same while we (including myself) jumped to his defence.I was actually disappointed that he left Celtic after everything they had done for him, he was going to deported, along with his family back to Somalia but Tommy Burns spoke to a panel on his behalf and managed to convince them that he could stay because he was a special talent. Also when he signed for Celtic they paid for a big apartment for his family to stay in and that, they did a lot of things for him really, they also appointed him with an agent at first but he later changed his agent to whoever this guy is now and then started to become more arrogant and didn't seem to have the same sort of loyalty he had shown before... Styles 9,790
I always thought he'd go abroad for a loan. I can't think of many teams in the lower leagues who would want a 5'4 striker to be honest.
lionsden 4,689
For a striker that short and lacking football iq to make it at the top level would undoubtedly require aguero level talent. I'm not fussed one bit about him tbh. I have never seen him as one of our outstanding you prospect and I will be shocked If he makes it here. ja1 1,166
I didn't realise they were top division in Greece. In fact they finished 6th last season. Apart from the CL teams like Olympiakos it is probably still Championship standard at the most but not going to lie when I heard he was going to Crete I assumed it was a pub team, may have been wrong. LAB 1,030
Here is another "wtf" info for ya: OFI Crete is now managed by Gennaro Gattuso. They are lower table Championship standard at best imo.

CHOULO19 24,332
That would be a great move for him.Faith in his future is at an all time low. But if he can get a starting place in the championship at his age, that would be a huge step in restoring it.I didn't realise his move to Cardiff was a done deal. I hope he can make an impact. Not done, yet. But a lot of people saying it will happen.
We Hate Scouse 10,326
Very strange move. He hasn't really progressed massively from the promise he had shown at an early age. I think it's too high of a level and he will just be sat on the bench unfortunately. I hope he proves me wrong.
Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
I didn't realise his move to Cardiff was a done deal. I hope he can make an impact. He definitely had the skills as a youth player. If I remember Cardiff has/had another young Somali player around Feruz's age that also shows a lot of promise. His name is Abdifatah Noor.
