Dr Paco Biosca joins Chelsea

Doctor Paco Biosca, who headed FC Shakhtar Donetsk's medical team for the recent six years, moved to London's Chelsea. The club convey their appreciation to Mr. Biosca for his valuable contribution to Ukrainian football's development and wish him well in one of Europe's most challenging leagues.

During the years he worked in Donetsk, the renowned Spanish orthopaedist managed to accomplish a lot. But most importantly, he inculcated us with a contemporary understanding of football medicine and the cutting-edge technology. And FC Shakhtar's wide recognition among representatives of Europe's leading sports medicine centres attests to the above fact.

Dr. Biosca's intention is to not stop communication with FC Shakhtar. We will continuously stay in touch and communicate, and in case of need Paco is ready to give our club his expert opinion and come to the rescue at any time.

FC Shakhtar's medical service is now headed by Arthur Hlushchenko. He formerly acted as the club's first team doctor. From now on Arthur is responsible for the club's entire medical side.

Good stuff.

The way the club has to improve the work has to start from the inside.

So Roman and AVB are doing the right thing.

Later we can focus on the squad once the inside is well and running.

Knowing you I suspect that's not a joke. Did they try anything similar for defending the goalposts?

there were riots at times with fans accusing the opponents witch doctor of bewitching the ball...could be the reason we lost in Moscow.

altho referring to another thread ,,Ive always believed the Anti Christ wasn't JOSE but really SAF

Shakhtar does have one of the fittest squads in Europe. Seems a replacement for Bryan English.

Btw, what happened to the Milan guy that joined last year? Demichelis, I believe. Did he quit or was he sacked along with Carlo?
