TC needs to update it's unreliable source list.

As of current, TC policy is:

Links from unreliable sources, such as Goal or Tribalfootball will be deleted from the forum, due to their relative lack of credibility. Quotes from these websites will be removed at the discretion of the moderating team.

I think the unreliable source list should be expanded to more then just these two.

Unless of course here at TC we like to read fake news from unreliable sources....

Totally agree with you.

Frustrated by these lack of quotes on sources & then they start spreading so people get misled.

I agree... i read in 2 papers today bout 2 players were meant to be interested in... one was David Villa.. the other was us bidding for Aguero... also were suppposedly in discussions with anderlecht for Lukaku... these speculation is mind-blowing and messes with ya head! lmao.

Last few days were meant to be signing de Bruyne, Lukaku, Elia, Aguero, Sneijder, David Villa, Modric, and god knows how many more...

The statement doesn't limit unreliable sources to just those two. Those are examples.

Yeah but i tried explaining that to some people, and they still see as those two as the only one not to bring.

I suppose the argument against this, is that it keeps discussion going, but since it's all fantasy anyway (without a credible source/quotes) then what's the difference. Why would anyone want to be mislead, and anticipate something only to be disappointed.

It all depends on the user reading the rumours, some are more prone to being transfer muppets than others.

Twitter has many quite good sources and I don't see why everything coming from it should be "dumped" into one thread.

Can't kick off the discussion in that thread too.

True good point.

But i guess then it's the job of the moderator to see what is wrong and what is right.

We can read all this junk by our self. But i would rather that here at TC we can have some sense of what's reliable and whats not reliable.

You can give an opinion about who you want and why. There is nothing wrong with that, but i would just want TC to be a bit more better then all the noise you hear from the media.

If we can't separate the reality from gossip here at TC, then we are no better of then just reading those papers.

There is only so much a forum and it's administrators can do without turning the forum into moderator dictatorship. It's up to the users to keep the level of the board from dropping and in the transfer section all one needs is common sense and a good memory.

True, true.. Let's just hope this thread will make users more aware to the notion "don't believe everything you read"
