Good shout, i forgot about that one, I'll stick with Sunderland as worse because we were at home. But just remembered losing 5-1 to Spurs. I'll have that as worst and Sunderland 2nd.

I have been following Chelsea for 12 years (not as long as a lot of you i know, lol) and i honestly can't recall a more shocking performance in all that time. There was no fight, no hunger, no passing, no nothing. Pathetic, shocking, out of order. Having said that. At least we ain't in Liverpool's position. Still top of the league. Keep The Blue Flag Flying High!! :cfc:

Mr Ancelotti, Can we give Bruma a chance to prove he is good enough to step up to the first team now Terry and Alex are injured please.
-
Why are people are talking about 'being vocal' If we're going to choose the captaincy on that then why is Lamps vice? He is hardly the most vocal man on the pitch. For me, a captain should be someone who commands respect from the dressing room and leads by example on the pitch. Based on that my 4th would be Essien.

Ray Wilkins leaves with immediate effect

WTF??? Where has this come from? Why have they decided this? Really shocked and confused right now! First of all thanks to Ray and good luck in the future. As for his replacement, Maybe Paul Clement will step up to number one assistant. What do people think of that? -
Ancelotti and Drogba up for FIFA awards

Rooney isn't even nominated. lol! No question at all that Messi will win for me. Carlo must have a decent chance of winning the manager award after what he achieved last season but as he's manager of Chelsea i'll be surprised if he does. -
Can't wait to see Bos and Ash flying down those wings. Welcome back Jose.

Injury Latest - Terry, Sturridge & Romeu out injured.

Any news on Lamps and when he will return?! -
I would quite like to see him here. He wouldn't be too expensive given he is in the last 2 years of his contract and of he performs as he did for United last season then it would be brilliant. Rooney, Drogs, Nico, Flo and Lamps going forward (in whatever way, I'll leave that to the manager, lol) would be frightening.

I have a manc mate, and after the mistake he made for the Zilina goal he said, i think Cech is becoming a liability, i largely ignorned the comment at the time, then when he punched the ball to Parker in the West Ham game he said, I told you, he is a liability now. I said to him.... Are you having a laugh? Ok, it was a bit of a cock up for the Zilina goal but every player is going to make a mistake at some point, and how can you blame him for that goal (Parker) It was an amazing finish. He shut up. I can't remember the moment in the match but Cech made some sort of flap against Villa which made my 'mate' pipe up again. I put him straight about the three goals conceded and clean sheets etc and compared to Van Der Sar, again he shut up. I think if he makes a comment again i might have to headbutt him.

I love Nico, Haven't currently got a shirt with his name on the back but will have to one day. And yes, his 50 goals and 135 games are the most he has scored and played for any of his clubs. Don't think he will get there but hopefully he can push on and get near to 100. Well done Nico, keep it up. :cfc:

Out of the Carling Cup - one less distraction?
boshman replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I agree with most of you. Obviously disappointed to go out but the performance of the young players, noteably McEachran and PVA was brilliant. The youngsters will get another chance i'm sure of it after the performances i witnessed last night. Forget this competition for another year and move on to more serious matters, City, Marseille and Arsenal all in a week. -
Surely anyone is better than Hilarious and Ross Fumble!
-
Great news. Imagine having Bos and Ash as our flying full backs. :eyebrows: Can't wait!
-
Josh McEachran - The new John Terry? Not in terms of position obviously but as the Englishman who came through the youth system, who can relate ad have a great relationship with the fans. He was amazing in the half hour he played. Only 17 years old. 3-1 down at home i'm sure most youngsters would have hid on the field but he was constantly looking for the ball, very assured and confident on it as well. The ease at which he could slide past 2 or 3 players was brilliant. Can't wait to see more of him, very excitng prospect. As for the game. The first half we were cruising. Switched off for 5 minutes ad we were 2-1 down. 3-1 down and down to 10 men and all of a sudden we decided to click. Josh, PVA, Nico and Ramiers were impressive. Paulo, Studge and Zhirkov didn't have the best of games. But very proud of our boys. If thy go down then all i ask is they go down fighting which is what they did. Unlucky lads. Now for more serious business of City at the weekend.

This will either be a rout or a scrappy 1-0 win i think. If we get a goal in the first 10 - 15 minutes we'll batter them. Hope to see a few youn guns given a good half hour if everything is going smoothly. Also think Carlo should give a start too Studge and maybe Kakuta. Shouldn't be any problems though and hopefully go into the City game with 100% record but obviously you never know in the Premier League.
-
Masterfull performance in the first half hour. And then we seemed to take our foot off the gas which really frustrated me although i can understand why. Delighted with Studge gettin his firs CL goal, And loving the celebration. lol. Also really pleased Carlo put the three young guns on. Kakuta looked very much at home and was very impressed with McEachran. 17 years old making his first team debut in the CL and he looked very assured on the ball, very confident. Looking forward to seein him in the first team more often. Van Aanholt wasn't really given much time to make his mark but we all know he is a very exciting prospect anyway.
-
I was impressed. He seemed to be confident on the ball, passed well. Got up and down and seemed to me as if he had an eye for goal. I read somewhere before he joined he was a similar type of player to Essien and it seems to be the case. Promising start.
-
Brilliant in the 3 or 4 months he was here. Was really sad when he left. Get well soon.
-
Without a doubt the best left-back in the world!
-
Drogba for me. Captain of his country, Has been with the club for a few years now so commands respect with all he has acheived. And i remember him wearing it against Fulham a few seasons ago when JT was out and Lamps got subbed. No brainer for me. Drogs all the way.
-
Thank God for that. Was never good enough to play for Chelsea. Still, Good luck to him.

Mourinho wants to meet Chelsea at Wembley
boshman replied to warnie_666's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
That would be magic. To beat Madrid, maybe the most famous club in the world and Jose in the final. Immense. -
You think of Milwall you think of violence. Just one of those clubs who has a bad reputation.
