not to be a buzzkill here but... although having read that, Sandro can play LB,LWB,LM and Spinazzola can play LM, LB so it does still seem it's a like for like replacement/backup

the telegraph have since removed that part of the article which said we are willing to sell to MU for 50M. Originally including this info seems to have been a mistake on their part.. I really don't want to help mourinho out in any way, shape or form. Let him struggle and end up with a midfielder whose worse than matic. Jose is a very smart squad builder and if he feels they really need him, that's reason enough not to sell to them imo

interesting, I hope psg don't get both neymar and sanchez though, they would move way ahead of us in the hierarchy of european super clubs (I'd say we are slightly ahead of them atm, if only for our CL win and the fact we play in a much, much more quality league)... If I was CFC, I would have tacked on an extra year... He's one of, if not the, most sought after manager in the world at the moment. As things stand, we are scheduled to have another round of nail biting negotiations next summer when he will only have one year left on his contract

My bad, you guys are right, it's not an extension, it's more of a renegotiation of the last 2 years he had left on his contract.... weird.

IIRC his first contract was 2016-2019 and now with this new 2 year deal that takes him to 2021. Pretty good if you ask me, they were never going to extend much longer than that anyways

doesn't really make sense to start gauging who will finish where until teams finish their transfer business, at the moment we look like we are set for 4th-5th since we have no main striker, 3 midfielders etc but if we sign a ST, CM, RWB etc we will be in the mix for the title I think
