  1. I think we still might get him… if nothing happens before the end of this week, then we need to look elsewhere (we probably already are in parallel). Maybe go back to Skriniar, hope we’re not considering Pau Torres…
  2. exactly, if anything Fofana is more proven (has been great in PL already)… but I do like Gvardiol too
  3. Same, probably my most hated team of all (the fact that their fans are insufferable deluded clowns for the most part doesn’t help lol)… They didn’t impress me today, decent 15-20 mins at the start but pretty poor after that, I don’t think they’re better than us.
  4. why so aggressive towards Harry, what did he do? lol
  5. Azpi deal makes sense for us, we don't have to blow cash on a dumfries or kwp (and RLC can be a decent option there if needed)... Hopefully that means we have more cash available to get Fofana over the line.
  6. I’m not sure why we’re trying for de jong.. He’s a very nice player but would be super expensive + he is really bad defensively and is a very similar profile to kovacic, who isn’t going anywhere.
  7. still would rather sell ziyech if one winger was to leave…
  8. I have faith that a front three of sterling kai and mount can be very decent (looked very decent yesterday)… hopefully sterling attracts more attention from defenders to himself and that will help Kai flourish. He is incredibly talented and I believe and hope he can crack the 10g mark in the PL this upcoming season. If sterling and mase do likewise, we should be OK
  9. Yeah I see your point… plus CHO can also slot in at RWB if needed (and it might be needed as we don’t look to be buying anyone for that position, unless we get another CB and reece plays there) Out of all our attackers, I’d rather we sold Ziyech than CHO or Pulisic. The Ziyech we see now is as good as it’ll get but I still have some hope for our younger players developing further…
  10. torn on CHO, seems to have potential but he hasn’t done anything since his big injury, doesn’t seem as quick and agile as before too… We should have taken that £70M from bayern a few years back lol
  11. his treatment by some of our “fans” has been disgusting, especially consider his back to back POTS and that he’s a homegrown talent who loves the club… I would guess it’s mostly weird and disturbed kids trying to be edgy
  12. Funny how you conveniently omitted goal contributions vs west ham, arsenal and spurs (and an assist v real madrid)… Unfortunately our club has a considerable amount of “supporters” like you who like to dig out our best performing player who also happens to be Chelsea through and through and an academy graduate.
  13. Agreed! Kepa all-time worse CFC signing by a mile... Torres was already sort of injured and we took a chance that didn't really work out.
  14. soooo many awful takes on mount in the last few pages lol. "Mason Mount has scored 12 and assisted 8 goals in the Premier League for #Chelsea. He’s the second-youngest player to reach 20 goals and assists for the club in the Premier League after only Arjen Robben. [via @premierleague]" tweet (and mount played around half of those games in central midfield too) "Shot Creating Actions 1. Mount = 109 2. Werner = 59 3. Ziyech/Reece = 46 Excluding Corners & FK’s 1. Mount = 72 2. Werner = 59 3. Reece = 44 Shot Creating Actions Per 90 1. Ziyech = 5.73 (722 mins) 2. CHO = 4.81 (823 mins) 3. Mount = 4.79 (2,047 mins) 4. Pulisic = 3.56 (987 mins) 5. Werner = 2.88 (1843 mins)" tweet People put expectations on him way and above other players who are/should be in their prime but regularly play awful yet receive much less criticism. He was a top 2 player for us last season and is by far the best performing player for us this season... He is a 7/10 at minimum each game and often times closer to an 8/10 (and going by average player ratings per game on various stats sites, he is by far our best player). As to the grealish comparisons, at 22 years old (mount’s current age), grealish was putting up 3g5a in the championship lmao... Not to mention that mount last year at 20/21yo in his first ever PL season had virtually the same stats in the PL as grealish (mount had 7g6a and grealish had 8g6a, and mount was being moved all over the pitch and played in central midfield a lot). Give the kid some time and stop demanding perfection from him, it’s getting ridiculous. He is by far our best presser (something tuchel loves for his system), he has a great shot on him, is amazing at set pieces, links the play between defence and attack brilliantly, is amazing at creating shots for others (among the best in PL) as well as chances (also among the best in PL among top players in their prime like fernandes, de bruyne etc)... Yes he takes corners/set pieces and some of the chances come from those but that is also the case for fernandes, de bruyne and others but they don’t get slated for that (funny how that works lol). So many legends of the game rate him very highly (JT, Ash Cole, Lineker, roy keane, etc), so many top managers rate him very highly too from tuchel to klopp to others, the stats show he’s amazing but listing through the last few pages you’d think he’s an absolute bum. People asked if we’d want buy him if he was available, a 22 yr old stud and and star in the making who does everything on the pitch? no shit we would want to buy him lol (Klopp said two days ago he's for sure a 60M pound + player already). Some people need a reality check when it comes to their understanding of what constitutes a great player...He is here to stay and will be a key part of the team for years to come, no matter how many people on here and on twitter slate him unfairly.
  15. agree about rudiger tbh... I just feel their contributions have been been made to look better than they truly are because we have played teams that did not attack us, and that includes spurs who parked the bus and offered literally nothing going forward. The real tests will come in games v. teams that aren't afraid of going at us. If they continue playing well then, then fair enough and I will hold my hand up
  16. Thanks for all the work guys (especially @James)! 👊
  17. imo the only negative of tuchel's tenure so far is his love for jorgihno... to me he is a weak and slow player, his long balls are below average, he gets spun in midfield very often when teams attack us and he can't shoot, score or assist. The stat someone posted above that he has been motm 3 times in 4 games is pure fiction, he was dreadful a couple of times and him taking the pens covered up those poor performances in the player ratings... I can easily see him being exposed by a team with quality going forward that actually wants to attack... that has not been the case for any of the 4 teams we've played under tuchel so far and even the little attacking sheffield did do, they ran around him like he was a cone in midfield... I hope I'm wrong about him in the long term as tuchel seems to love him but I don't love what I've seen from him in the 2+ years he's been at Chelsea so far
  18. still a regular starter and the best performer even under tuchel, give me those delicious tears haters
  19. would love something like this but it seems tuchel loves the jovacic midfield 😩
  20. lol never seen such nonsense... he is a world class prospect at the #8 role and anyone who says otherwise either has a personal agenda against mount or simply doesn’t understand football Was motm yesterday yet again in his actual position as #8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30] I should’ve checked if he actually said it before getting excited... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. fair enough, personally I'm interested in both our future plans and how we play and develop as a team now but to each his own. To me, Haland would be our best signing in the history of the club if we were to complete it so naturally this possibility excites me but I understand that not everyone shares these feelings
