  1. yeah but the fact that roman brought him back must surely mean something. i mean roman has witnessed jose's style first hand for 3 years and has probably been following his teams since then. he knows what he's getting so i wouldn't worry too much about jose elaving because of style...
  2. i'd be willing to bet 1000$ he isn't going anywhere... he's already talking about transfer targets and building next year on what we've achieved this season. Roman has now owned chelsea for 10 years and has gone through a merry-go-round of world-class managers and has chosen to return to jose. My guess is that isn't an accident but more of an understanding on roman's part that we had the absolute best in the world and if you fire him, there is no place to go but downwards... also, this isn't jose's team, and roman will be aware of this. He's started to changes some things (mata, kdb sold and matic, salah and zouma bought) but none of the players brought in have been here long enough yet to make a true impact in terms of changing the shape of the team and he still has some buying to do... i think roman will judge jose more on this coming season and even then, if we fail (depending on how we fail) he might still be willing to give him some more time... this is my thinking at least
  3. damn it lol hope that's what's going on in today's session as well though
  4. not to mention that last time he publicly slated hazard (about him being late for training), hazard's reponse was to become one of the best trainers at the club since then...
  5. i love how only jose is judged by standards of "if he doesn't make a CL final, he's failed"... yeah he lost at the semi-final stage last season, so what? what does that prove? ferguson only won 2 european cups in 27 years with MU, guardiola just got humiliated by real and still all the talk is always about jose supposedly "failing"... and if it wasn't for jose's tactics in big games this season, we wouldn't be in top 4 and we wouldn't have reached the CL semis. he decided these tactics were the ones more likely to succeed with this current crop of players so he went for that... you say this team is more suited to attacking football and thus think we should've tried to play like liverpool this season? all i can say is thank God you're not the manager because it would have been embarrassing, probably similar to what happened under AVB and for some reason you omitted this, carlo got real to the CL final by parking the bus, jose-style in the first leg and taking advatage of the fact that bayern had to attack in the 2nd leg to kill them off (again, jose style)
  6. nice to see jose and hazard having a laugh during training... they've probably already discussed how this whole thing got blown out of proportion and jose probably just reminded eden to be careful as the media is capable of twisting every word and making a big story out of it... jose had already publicly stated a while back he wasn't really happy with how hazard was late for training and not one of the best trainers and according to jose, his reponse has been to become "one of the best trainers" at the club since then... hoping for a similar response from eden and for everything to be back to normal and for hazard to impove even more next year with hopefully a world class striker to link up with
  7. I don't think we should sell him at all! just thinks he needs to wise up a bit in terms of what he says to the media... otherwise fantastic player, great and layed back personality and a joy to watch! what's not to like
  8. it's ambiguous and that's the point! if you say something ambiguous like that, you can be sure the media are going to put a negative spin on it and start stirring shit... i've seen plenty of headlines in the british media saying "chelsea doesn't play football" -hazard and stuff to that effect.... he has to be wiser on what he says and how he says it, he has to realize the media aren't necessarily his friends and will most certainly twist anything he says that is even remotely ambiguous
  9. he did say "chelsea ne joue pas au foot" before he said "on joue sur le contre comme le real contre bayern"... so although the second part isn't as bad, the first part i.e. "chelsea doesn't play football" can be considered a dig at mourinho... hazard has been a top level pro and superstar for a while now so he should be wiser than saying something like "chelsea doesn't play football". Something, which taken in full context, doesn't sound as bad but still something he should know the media will latch on to and start stirring shit with...
  10. there you have what? the "little weasel" part was too much but "et voila" what? eden had a poor game, made a very costly mistake and decided to have a subtle dig at our team's tactics in response to all this rather than man up... it's understandable some fans are pissed off at him at the moment
  11. exactly, we see bits and pieces of our youngsters every once and a while but mourinho is there day in day out and he'll surely have his own ideas on whether loftus-cheek can fulfill his potential and get to the level barkley is already at... if jose chooses the route of buying barkley, i trust his judgement more than mine, or anyone else on here, so we just have to hope it all pans out in the end... i quite like barkley and have been waiting for us to buy top quality english talent so him and luke shaw are welcome here as far as i'm concerned
  12. he's a big game player and he's proved it over and over this season... in most games against big teams this year we've put him in midfield and he's been nothing short of amazing in almost all of them (city, pool, arse etc). being MOTM v. paris when we're 3-1 down from the first leg in a CL quarterfinal just further shows what he's made of... he's a winner and that's what jose and chelsea need
  13. exactly! don't read anything into this, mourinho had to say that..
  14. so according to you, hypothetically, we could take our entire starting line-up as is, take out torres and put in any one of costa, suarez, aguero, cavani and the results for this season would be more or less the same? that we wouldn't score more goals? you're kidding right? at this level, having a top level striker is an absolute must if you want to win trophies and having an absolute donkey up top is an insurmontable barrier... hell, even with eto'o who is getting old, the difference when samuel plays and when torres plays is like night and day! we would have actually had a good chance to get 2-3 goals yesterday with eto'o rather than torres/schurrle(not andre's fault, he's not really a striker)
  15. all we know is that he asked to leave, no one said whether it was for a loan or permanent transfer as far as i know...
  16. apparently his agent has confirmed he's holding talks with everton and tottenham so apparently he does want to leave... if so, good riddance! we don't need players who aren't willing to give their all to fight for their place and for the shirt... quite honestly, his attitude and the things he's been saying have been quite annoying for a while now, jose probably told him something to the effect of (purely conjecture but based on how things are turning out it's not too far fetched) "i want you in the team but i can't guarantee you a starting spot" (also basing this on jose's comment saying "why don't you ask lukaku why he's not at chelsea?" earlier on in the season) and it seems this proposition wasn't good enough for romelu, if so he can f off
  17. luiz bleeds blue and is chelsea through and through... no other player gets vilified as much as luiz though for some reason. he played a great first half and in the second, the whole team was shite. his partner in midfiled, ramires had a shocker but no one mentions him at all... i really hope we keep him
  18. exactly! who cares! people will hate chelsea with torres, with costa, with drogba or anyone else up top... f*ck em all
  19. drogba, yeah in the beginning he was play acting a lot but after he started getting booed by us the chelsea fans he cleaned up his act considerably and the rival fans hating him towards the end was more to do with him owning their teams all the time ramires i can understand, love the guy but can easily see how oppo fans would hate him, often time late on tackles... with oscar there is nothing to hate imo, he just plays hard.... as to david luiz, any existing hate is from the man utd incident with rafael (or his twin don't remember) where luiz completely owned him, rafel lashed out and luiz was just smiling at the moronic utd fans shouting at him after he obviously got hacked down... so the only one really would be ramires imo...
  20. disagree with lionsden's views on luiz but there is no denying that de niro is one of the besta ctors of all time (imo the best )
  21. hazard hasn't miss a pen for us yet, has he? balo is very good at penalties but to say we don't have anyone except lamps isn't right imo
  22. i have full faith in eden for penalties
  23. if anyone can keep balo in check then surely it's jose... costa-lukaku-balotelli would be an amazing front line, especially compared to torres-eto'o-ba
