  1. you never know, that's why I wrote "wait and see", we don't know how far in the pipeline any of these deals are
  2. remy sold to las palmas on two years contract apaprently...
  3. people are exaggerating how bad our window has been, if we end up with : drinkwater, mahrez, zappacosta, barkley, morata, baka, rudiger caballero... honestly that's not that bad at all. Let's wait and see before giving our verdict
  4. I know but more people are reporting it now...
  5. arsenal have said they're not in for him, no one is in for him except us it seems....
  6. hope not, rate willian way higher than mahrez.... willian works for the team all the time, mahrez jogs around and costs his team points by being nonchalant (he gave away a crucial ball to arse for their goal right before HT and refused to track back during 1st game of season and then lost a second crucial ball in that game without tracking back, ultimately costing them the game). Hopefully he'll be behind hazard, pedro, willian in the pecking order and that conte can change his attitude for the better
  7. guys, if we ever feel sad about the state of our transfers, let's just have a laugh at the arse 😂😂😂 They bid 100M on a player, player agrees to come, everything is set and then arse say "meh, nevermind, there's not enough time anyways" hahahah wtf
  8. I would take drinkwater above fellaini any day personally... Also, we've had a so-so mikel as midfield backup for almost a decade, it didn't stop us from winning all the available trophies... Not saying I love this signing but at least he's had a very good year with kante and they play well together
  9. well yeah, all players won't be desperate to play for Conte specifically. We're in the league that has almost all the best managers in the world, some will want to play for pep, jose and klopp. That's normal. The players we did sign did want to play for conte specifically, morata, baka etc... I think it's more a by-product of being in a league with a lot of managerial talent and a lot of teams with considerable money
  10. Liverpool bid £64m for Lemar but if there is an indication that Monaco might sell then Chelsea could make a counter offer. (@JBurtTelegraph) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/08/28/liverpool-make-second-bid-646m-monacos-thomas-lemar-push-complete/
  11. hope arsenal don't get vvd, he would instantly make their defence much more solid and they've had trouble with defending for ages.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. agreed! but we have bigger ambitions that everton... After this weekend of premier league matches, I feel much better about us possibly having a sustained title challenge. MU look good so far but city are showing a few little signs of weakness, arsenal weren't ever really gonna challenge but seeing them lose is always pleasant and we just beat spurs away... looking somewhat promising for when we get everyone back and firing, hopefully we can beat everton with a makeshift line-up and keep up with the big teams until we have everyone back. Happy days
  13. agree that Christiansen probably has more promise and upside but I thought Rudiger did very well in that game too. I was very skeptical about him but he surprised me in a good way yesterday
  14. away at city? yeah they probably should... Almost every team in the prem would take a draw away to city (and they ended with 10 men too)
  15. disagree, everton did well to get a point
  16. to all the people saying "we played horrible but I'll take it", with all due respect, what were you watching? the team did exactly what conte wanted from them, as he himself said post game. Sure spurs put some pressure on but all they had to show for it was to hit the post once and have a few half chances (ok that gift from michy as well). They didn't even score a single goal themselves ffs.. Meanwhile, we set up to frustrate them by clogging up midfield and hit them on the counter and not only did we defend brilliantly but we had the best chances in the game (morata sitter, willi hitting the post, two brilliant alonso goals). People think that because a team has a lot of possession they should win, it's ridiculous. We were limiting their possession to areas where we could defend well against them and were fairly comfortable throughout. And we did all this with a new backline, hazard, cahill, cesc missing, starting christiansen in his first big game, pedro, bakayoko and morata not up to speed... damn impressive if you ask me. You'd think that chelsea fans would know what a brilliant, tactical, disciplined away display looks like by now but a lot of our fans still can't appreciate it, I feel sorry for them lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. and everything is right in the world once more [emoji41][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
