oh ffs if we bail on sarri because of some controversial insults he used in a heated row with some other manager, I'll be super pissed... I'm sure most players and managers have already shouted things they regret in the heat of the moment. If this is the reason we don't go for him it's truly laughable

Skysports confirms that he is as dedicated to Chelsea as ever so I think the talks of him selling are just fear mongering as things stand.... He loves Chelsea and I actually think this may be good news for us in the short term, more cash for players and hopefully paying that Sarri clause lol

How would you know unless you watched as well? niiiniii fc aside, this is a tactic that is used all the time in football negotiations, it's nothing new... As to him, I typically watch some of his videos to just catch up on the latest gossip. Anyone in their right mind would know he's not some sort of in-the-know insider but he does a good job aggregating the latest rumours. Don't always agree with his opinions but I think he's right in this case... not saying anything got leaked, just using logic to try to make sense of the gossip. If we end up with sarri, that will mean that the blanc interest was just a bluff as I suspect it is, we'll see...

I think this laurent blanc interest is a way to try to bluff ADL into not paying the 8M release clause by showing him we have other options... from everything I've been reading and hearing, we are pretty set on sarri. I'm worried this might piss off the unpredictable ADL and he'll be even tougher to do business with... technically, he can ask for whatever sum he wants for sari's release once May 31st has passed... ughhh I just want us to have a manager already and start buying players and planning for next season

Now that I think of it, Carlo won it during his first season with us in the premier league too but others have failed spectacularly as well (Scolari, AVB) so maybe that isn't the most important factor but it still plays in Pochettino's favour. As to Spurs bottling, they are eternal bottlers and I think that they'd be bottlers even with pep or zidane lol. Sarri is great too, would be happy with any of Poch, Sarri or Jardim.

You're right, Sarri plays better football but I don't think that should necessarily be the number one criteria by which we pick a manager. Poch knows the prem inside out by now and has come really close to winning it on a tight budget. I think he would hit the ground running here and could sign us some nice players ready to compete and dominate in the premier league. Neither has really won anything of note and both are used to playing second/third fiddle to a dominant team in their league but I would choose pochettino based on familiarity with the league, brining through young talent and of course to piss of spurs lol. Having said all that I would love Sarri here as well and no one really knows which one would do better at Chelsea in the end (although the fact pochettino has manager several years in the premier definitely gives him an advantage imo)

reports that Sarri is still waiting on Chelsea who are set to sack conte after the fa cup final.... Except the pipe dream that is pochettino, sarri is the next best choice with jardin being OK too imo... don't want enrique or blanc, those would be disasters

hazard is already an absolute legend for us, instead of criticizing him for when the whole team is shambolic and the manager it seems has downed tools all season, let's support him and hope the club's surrounds him with a system, manager and players where he can truly flourish. Right now it seems we are not only not helping but putting him an environment that is set up against him (super defensive manager, no consistently top class striker to link up with, being constantly played out of position even though he is our best player etc) and despite all this, he still loves Chelsea and has hinted numerous times recently that he wants to stay. I really hope we get rid of Conte, bring in a manager that will get the best of Hazard, get a top class striker he can play off of (or maybe Morata will adjust better next season if he stays and become that striker) and just generally put him in a position where he can succeed easier (a world class wing player would help too)
