It's quite ardently clear why the transfer policy at our club is a failure. Basically you expect managers to work with players who they didn't want in the first place, trying to fit them into a team they don't belong in. I know this is a business and they have a transfer budget and policy, then why don't just go and give the managers a budget for transfers, instead of trying your hand with players that the coach doesn't even want in his team in the first place. It's a waste of money basically, with no meaningful outcome.

What hurts the most about this match is that everyone saw it coming. I don't even remember the last time I thought of Chelsea as exciting, it's just the same score and odd goal kinda win everytime, since the second Mourinho term. Probably the last time, I was excited about seeing Chelsea play was under Rafa Benitez, maybe we weren't the best of teams at that time, but atleast there was passion and excitement, that's the kind of Chelsea I miss seeing. And maybe that's why we need some fresh air with an attacking manager, not saying that Conte is bad at all, but I'm tired of seeing this gloomy dull Atmosphere at this club.

I don't know Willy makes me nervous when he steps on the pitch, he's pretty capable of making a mockery of himself.

I do remember reading it on the Courtois page, I might be wrong

For me Hazard will always be a Chelsea great, people calling Hazard and Courtois Belgian cunts for their acts with the media will always be beyond me. Maybe they are a little outspoken, but they chose to be at this club for so long, when they could have easily made a bigger name, earned a bigger paycheck and won more trophies. Yet they still remain, so even if you don't like them, yet their loyalty to this club can't be challenged, atleast not for me

I hope we go there and cause an upset by beating them

I really don't want Conte anymore, not that he isn't a top manager or I'm not appreciative of him. I really did think he was the guy to lead this team. He really has jeopardized his position at the club, with constant moaning about transfers, that isn't healthy for the players as well, that the manager doesn't think that they are good enough. And this is topped by his reluctance to change players. I get the point no backup is available for bakayoko, but is their any excuse in this world for playing Cahill again and again? I don't know who'll replace him, I don't know how he'll perform, but I do think the club is only moving in one direction right now - Downward

Seriously? You gonna abuse him for not being technically good? That's not his fault, he tries every bit to be good on the pitch. Hard Work is all you can expect a player to give , Don't start abusing him for not being a technically gifted player. This is just who he is, if you don't like him, Don't play him. Simple. Conte is the only one to blame here.

Alot of this comes down to the formation, when we play the 3 at the back, we essentially have a useless 3rd defender, two wing backs who are essentially shit at attacking, yet still have to because no other width is available. When we play 3-4-3 we have 2 midfielders, usually Kante and Bakayoko who are both better defensively. This just kills the attack, everyone knows the striker can't do anything on his own, leaving just Hazard who should be kept calm. 4-3-3 might make are otherwise useless wingbacks being more defensive minded occasionally trying for an attack, which suits our team better than losing the ball every time. And this also allows us to have 4 players up top, almost ready to pounce on any attack. This won't just help our attack, but also help us defensively. A lot of matches that we have lost comes down to our inability to press teams, and in the end we have our goal subject to waves of attacks from smaller teams. With more attacking players in our squad up top, these teams would be wary of trying to press us and they would be defensive in their matches, I think a attacking 4 like Liverpool have would be amazing for our squad, considering that we are mostly pretty organised at the back

I was watching YouTube videos, cause I know nothing about him, didn't look too firm on the ball even in a video meant to praise him. Still it was just a 5 minute clip, I hope he turns out to be good, we definitely are in need of a better option than Alonso

Obviously Hazard's performances are up for criticism, but you make it sound like, he's batshuyayi with a broken leg or something

Any Links for the match

Jeez, you guys, he said that it's difficult for Chelsea to compete in the 'Transfer Market' and therefore more work would have to be done on the team, for them to win silverware. He's just trying to point out that you can't expect Chelsea to be a world beater without those funds, he's staying facts not backing away or moaning
-
Conte: Atleast we can't do much worse in transfers than Bakayoko Board: Hold my beer
-
It looks like the club is by now willing to buy anything that has 2 legs that comes in 25-30 million
-
Not even a whole year and he is already more annoying than Costa, atleast Costa had some intent in himself, this guy is not even trying to play, throwing himself to the ground and moaning for not getting a foul, it was just pathetic. I know what he did can't be considered a dive, but i don't think he has such a poor physique to be going tumbling down at every finger that touches him.
-
seriously just stop trying long shots, you won't score one having such a bad shot. Stop wasting possession
-
Yeah I kinda understood that later, sorry 😛
-
All good to go? It's Andy Carroll, he's not going to be any better
-
He can score great goals, granted. Yet how does it equate to Hume being a great wingback. 3-5-2 means the basic quality that a wingback should have is he should be able to cover the whole of the left or right side and that too fast. Moses might not be the most technically gifted but he has good stamina, and could keep running for hours. Alonso on the other hand doesn't have as much speed, and that's problematic when he goes up against speedy wingers
-
We are the ones who need a rest from him.
-
The only player who none have ever complained about. Kudos to one of the best defenders ever to wear a Chelsea shirt
-
Even if Cahill is playing well now, and our back 3 are rock solid. I still want him back into the team. Because the problem with the current back 3 is their ball playing abilities. Azpilicueta does tend to chip in some good passes, but the other two are usually clueless as to what they should do with the ball. You see the ball being passed around, knowing that one or the other time it would be intercepted leading to a chance. We need a ball playing defender. And we don't even have to look in the window for him. He is on our bench. Yet it completely is above me why this glaring problem isn't fixed and why he isn't played.
-
Just his poor finishing. I can't emphasise enough on the fact that it should be his basic quality. The fact that by the third chance everyone was just expecting him to miss, says it all about his finishing and that is unacceptable , no matter how much his headers or positioning etc etc, the fact still remains if you score goals you're a good striker, if you don't you're a bad one, because that's what the team expected from you and you didn't provide it.
