I think our other youth midfielders are better than him. People keep saying how good he played for us in the last matches of the season and had 100% passing accuracy in one game but i didn't see any reason why he should get into our team, his passing were only short passes which were producing nothing and he wasn't either great in defending.

The only reason we are in for a cb this season is because we need one for the future. We already have 2 experienced defenders in our squad and it doesn't make any sense going after a player like Otamendi who is neither young and neither would he bolster the squad much.

Good for him going on loan to a good club which i think with Pardew's intelligence will finish in top 10. I am just relieved that Mourinho didn't make him third choice striker at our club because that would be ruining his development. He needs to be in the first team and with Palace i certainly think he will be their first choice striker.
