  1. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jul/18/stevan-jovetic-manchester-city-fiorentina Man City just fucking completed the signings of Negredo and Jovetic while we sit here protesting that we shouldn't go for either Rooney or Suarez
  2. Just like Ballack never meant to win a big trophy, Torres winning the best trophies available despite being shit in 99% of them, Drogba don't score much but every time he does it is important and other strange facts in football.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-O2UF6jWUY Form is temporary, class is permanent.
  4. Btw if you are wondering why Rooney hasn't handed in a transfer request long ago publicly is because of his loyal bonus, if he hand it in I think he will lose it. Heard it is like £2-£3m so it is not peanut either.
  5. Then they go out to sign Marquinhos, Dani Alves
  6. Reasons for and against signing Rooney: For: 1. Still one of the best striker in BPL and the world if used correctly 2. He is not just a striker, he is as effective in CF/CAM/CM and even on the wings when needed to be 3. His work rate is among the best there are in world football, he can joins defending pretty well when needed. This would suit us when we need to pack the bus 4. His shirt sell is among the most popular in world football, if I remember correctly there was a top 10 list in BPL and he was like 2nd or 3rd I think. THIS MEAN HE CAN MAKES US MILLIONS ALONE TO PAY BACK HIS FEE. There is the article I found http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2289560/Manchester-Uniteds-Robin-Van-Persie-tops-shirt-sales-ahead-Wayne-Roney-Steven-Gerrard-Luis-Suarez.html 5. He got plenty of mates here English wise in Lampard, Terry, Cole...etc 6. He is proven in BPL so people can stop complaining about that 7. He is quite complete striker, he can score goals from practically any where. Long range, header, free kick, penalty, open play...etc 8. He is not someone who will crumble under pressure like Torres. Actually because of his despicable personality, he can take any thing throw at him like Suarez which is a good trait for a top class striker Against: 1. Just had a not so amazing season but he had to play in midfield most of the time and second fiddle to RVP 2. He want a long term deal on £250k per week min, which mean he will cost us around £12m each year for the next 4-5 years 3. His personality, but I believe Jose can handle this 4. His life style, it is not exactly perfect and this could hamper his fitness 5. Injuries. He seems to pick them up more regularly lately than before but I don't think he will encounter nay serious problem. And beside, we got Lukaku, Ba/Torres(one will be sold if Rooney comes)
  7. The club just confirmed it on its official website that we bid for him LOL how can he lie.
  8. De Rossi and Rooney and we should all be buzzing.
  9. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/8828148/Transfer-news-Manchester-United-chief-executive-Ed-Woodward-leaves-tour
  10. It got out anyway so he just basically confirmed that we are indeed truly interested in Rooney. And I could see him being correct, Rooney is the only striker who would improve our forward line, Suarez is another but he will not come here and I don't think we want to sign second rate forwards like Soldado...etc. There are only 2 world class forwards left to buy this summer and that is Suarez and Rooney.
  11. Monaco signs Falcao and Hulk while PSG signs Cavani. All for over £50m LOL
  12. That is just dumb. If he come in and bang in 30 goals next season while Mata get serious injured or fails at MU, we would all be laughing after the end of the season and say how we got lucky there. On paper this is mental but even if it DID HAPPEN, it is not the end of the world. Hell even the fat Spanish waiter been appointed the manager of our club once when we never thought it was possible.
  13. If we really did offered Luiz/Mata in player swap+cash then we are in for the biggest transfer mistake since Torres. This is absolutely mental, this is on par with Benitez appointment recently if it is true, just WOW. And people complain we bid too much for Cavani, this is A WHOLE NEW LEVEL of mental.
  14. This is hotting up...hopefully it won't be like Cavani saga.
  15. OK I was not against his signing at first but WTF? MATA OR LUIZ+ CASH £££££££ wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. LOL Mata alone is worth £40m which is more than Rooney already, Luiz is arguably the same. That is fucking mental.
  16. ^ LOL £25m IS TOO MUCH FOR HIM? WTF. What do you want him for? £5m?
  17. You know it is fake when they said Rooney/Suarez to Chelsea hahahahahahahha.
  18. Maybe it is true if we offer him 5 years deal on 12m each year and £20m transfer fee.
  19. So if we crashed one with an Audi, we shouldn't buy a new Mercedes or any cars from Audi ever again in the future? Torres failing here doesn't mean Suarez will, Zidane worked miracle at Madrid while Kaka flopped badly, both from Serie A.
  20. Suarez £40-£45m, on around £150-£180k per week max Rooney £25-£40m, on around £250k per week MIN You choose...
  21. PSG close to signing Marquinhos for 30m euros AND WE are letting they do it with ease, WOW.
  22. Yeah but if we can sell him for £13-£16m as reported, why shouldn't we? If we sign De Rossi for the same, it is basically a straight swap between Mikel and De Rossi which even the dumbest Chelsea fan would have to agree with. He won't ever get any better, now because he just signed a new long term contract and had an OK tournament with Nigeria, teams will actually be interested in him. From there on they won't ever be again if he is warming the bench for De Rossi, Van Ginkel, Ramires next season. Not to forget we still have Essien who now no body want because of his past injury problems.
