This time the bonus is a lot as well, around £3m straight cash. Agreed, by then Lewandowski is a free agent and if we offer him like £250k per week he might be able to be persuaded to join. Who knows if he still want to move to Bayern next year, actually since he is worth around £40m anyway and if we are getting him on a free, we could just offer him like £5-£10m as signing on bonus and still have a bargain on our hand providing he keeps his form up. Who knows, other top strikers might be available as well, Ibra might want to leave after failing to win over Cavani/Falcao might move if Monaco fail to comply with FFP...etc And all sort of other possibilities, this is like Modric back then. If we don't sign Rooney now we will probably never do it again.

At first yes but eventually it will get to a point where one of those will be regular and the other will be bench warmer, rotation is not gonna be happening continuously forever. Kaka/Ozil are examples, Thiago Motta/Stankovic at Inter a few years ago and other situations... Of course only one out of 3 will start the big games and others will be on the bench then eventually one of them will start to get unhappy. The only thing is gonna keep rotation working is they are all on amazing form every time they come on to the field, which as we know won't happen. I think out of 3 places only 1 player nailed his place and that is Hazard. Atm the other 2 starting places would probably go to Mata and Kevin, with Oscar/Moses and Schurrle fighting to disrupt these 3. Of course Schurrle can only play LW/best at LW and Moses at RW so Oscar would slot into the middle. It is almost as if Oscar is back up for Kevin, Schurrle is back up for Hazard and Moses is back up for Mata.
-
Then it might be ironic but Kevin might just overtake Mata's place in the team himself

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8855484/sky-sources-manchester-united-reject-second-30m-bid-from-chelsea-for-wayne-rooney imo, I would offer a final of £35m+ £5m add-on and make it into a take it or leave it offer. The £5m will be activated if we win CL/he score more than 25 goals...etc
-
It already over took the Cavani total package if Rooney demands more than £200k per week which I think he will.
-
Erm that is a bit too far, Hazard is atm one of the top 50 players in the world, Kevin is not even close...yet
-
This guy got a lot of potential, even more than Oscar imo. Also he seems like he is really out to prove a point this season, he worked hard in every single match he has been in for us this preseason. He is a bit like Ramires but slower and are better technically. He can attack well, not the flashy type of Hazard and not as good but he can also defend well when required. Even though he seems small his stamina is quite good. If he can stay clear of injuries, he could be better than Wilshere imo.
-
Along with a new 5 years contract which would be around £200k per week probably LOL
-
That is a bit too far imo, remember Suarez, Bale, RVP, Rooney, Mata, Aguero, Dzeko, Jovetic, Negredo and a lot of other good strikers, I don't think he would make it.
-
Fucking amazing player, better than Demba Ba definitely even those he is like nearly 10 years older.
-
The only special thing Jose is getting is boo from Madrid fans.
-
In fact actually we could just sell him even for like £4m and I am sure either of those teams would bite our hand off. Or the like of Cardiff, Southampton...etc
-
He want to play ST, it is pretty clear LOL. Doubt he would want another pay raise, £250k per week is already one of the most in the world already. He would have a hard time convincing the club of matching it for the next contract let alone increases it haha.
-
Just send him on loan to West Ham/West Brom or something(talking about Ba)
-
That he held MU ransom to £250k per week, if he was really 'love' MU, he wouldn't have done that. Because he is one of the top 10 player in the world and not Oliver Giroud? We are letting go a top class player right in front of us.
-
Ah right well in that case hope we win, but then again would hate us to lose to Madrid
-
Remember guys, Jose said the same to Kaka when he came to Madrid and we all know what happened... Quality bench warmer Read this basically exactly the same as what he is saying atm about Torres. http://www.goal.com/en/news/1716/champions-league/2010/10/18/2171624/jose-mourinho-kaka-will-be-crucial-for-real-madrid
-
Prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Milan. Btw if we lose it does it mean we won't face Madrid anymore on Wed or we are going to face them regardless of this result?
-
If next week Rooney play in the community shield and play well then it will pretty much confirm that he will stay, if he is on the bench/not in squad/bad body language means he wants to leave and we might be able to get him. If it was up to me, I would just offer £45m+ £5m add-on for Suarez now and finish that move off straight away. He is on around £100k atm, we can easily match that if not offer him £20-£30k more and it would still be a good price. The only thing holding that Suarez move is his history of mental behavior and he is out for the first 6 matches if he is signed. But if Arsenal got an offer that is accepted, surely we need to jump in too?
-
No shit, he is playing for MU LOL. If he was playing for Everton and move to a team like Arsenal back then, you can be damn sure he would be some where else now. He is on £250k per week, he is not gonna go any where because no one could afford him bar a few clubs.
-
For all you know Torres could get serious injured tomorrow and be out for 3 months and that would make Jose's statement completely useless at that time. But I think he said that so in case we don't get Shrek, he will start the new season and say he already said he is happy with our strikers so we didn't make any other signing.
-
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/03/cesc-fabregas-manchester-united If Fabregas decides to move to MU we may well get Rooney eventually.
-
Or Rooney is back to form and bang in 30 goals this season for them and we end up losing the title.
-
Because he is not going to take a drop in pay cut when he can earn £250k for 2 more years if he stay. He is a mercenary type, he is not gonna move to us because we have a better project or team. He will move to us because he get to play ST and can still earn the same as he is currently having at MU. If he is main ST again this season instead of RVP he will not demand to leave.
-
So £40m+ £250k per week for Rooney+ other bonuses is a good deal while £53m+£150k per week for Cavani is too much.
