Well you never know, we might just decide to go out full speed as Jose want revenge
-
Damn it, can only watch the first half then needs to leave to go some where around the end of second half Oh well, hope we are 3-0 up by that time and effectively ending the game so I don't miss out much.

Also his shirts sell should be taken in to consideration, if we are going to pay £40m for Rooney and he help us sell around 1m shirts min at £60 each then that alone covers the whole transfer fee AND WE EVEN MAKE A PROFIT. Not to forget all his image right with Nike...etc which will bag us around £1m or a few. So basically he is paying the transfer fee for himself if he comes here eventually, we would only needs to pay his wages around £12m per year which isn't too bad for a world class player like him. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2011-12/apr/rooney-shirt-most-popular-in-league-history.html I know this is one year ago but still this guy is even more famous than Torres.
-
To be fair he never went public regarding the transfer of a player as much as Rooney ever before. I think there was similar situation when Inter signed Quaresma but he wasn't really a super star and nobody else was interested in him at the time, at the end he also never worked out. I can see him say things like ''he is an interesting player but we don't need him'' or ''he is not our so it is not for me to comment on''...etc but this time he came out from his first conferences to talk about Rooney. Ranging from advising him to do what makes him happy, saying it is Rooney or bust, that he is our only target...etc only makes Rooney feel more special and that he is appreciated here.
-
For him it kind of is really, he is not moving here to win trophies anymore because he won everything at MU. If he moves here it is to enjoy himself.
-
Agreed, it is like comparing Mercedes to Lamborghini, obviously Mercedes is more famous...etc but in a straight race doesn't mean they will win automatically or it means they will win any race they take part in. Some of the fan cannot even take any negative criticism, actually anything bad about the club is bound to get shoot down even though it is true. Back on Rooney, I think he will join us and do well for us. Of course moving from MU to us might seem a STEP DOWN FROM AN OUTSIDER'S POINT OF VIEW, it doesn't mean it is his view. Remember when Jose said he should do what makes him happy? Earning £250k per week, playing ST every week, regular starting 11 for England/club all the time unless injured, stay in England. All of these things makes him happy if he moves to us. On a personal level sure it might be nothing new, he won everything we could possibly won in the future, all the competition with MU. He is not moving to us for trophies, he is moving to us for one final pay day and to enjoy himself again which he isn't having at MU.
-
He is right though, MU is bigger than us unless you are super deluded. We just got a more promising future atm, but again it is just potential. Base on history, trophies...etc MU beats us in every way.

what about Torres? Shit player for like 3 years now yet still regularly appearing in top 10 for Liverpool then now us. Doubt Rooney's popularity will drop if he moves to us, RVP was also among the top shit sellers at Arsenal anyway, now he came to MU it moved to a new level. So maybe we won't get as much as MU out of Rooney shirts, we will still be getting enough to consider £30m a decent deal.
-
Probably fake but inside wouldn't be surprised if it is true too.
-
He is 3rd most sold shirts in BPL so...
-
Very close game, maybe 2-2 with pen and we nick it. But just got a feeling Madrid will probably win this.
-
The bite was the last chance I gave him, after seeing his reaction after the match/feeling sorry...etc I thought I would forgive him one last time then he goes and does this...Unacceptable. The only worse thing he could do to Liverpool now is coming out to the media and officially saying he wants to leave.
-
Well I don't care still would be a beast for us. Jose uses his magic wand and transforms Torres into a goal machine, Ba into the best sub in the BPL and Lukaku into the new Drogba. (In my imagination world apart maybe from the last bit)
-
http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2013/08/luis-suarez-misses-gerrard-testimonial-dinner.html Well this is awkward, fucking class less player. Hope he don't actually come here now. WOW, how could he do this. This doesn't even have anything to do with his transfer, refusing to attend your most supportive mate's party at his celebration is just fucking sad. Now this sum him up really.
-
LOL MU WILL NEVER LET HIM ROT IN REVERSE, in the same way we would never let Torres do the same or Madrid do it to Kaka. These are the reasons: 1. He is on fucking £250k per week, about top 10 in the world, maybe even top 5? You don't let someone like that do nothing for a month let alone a whole season 2. He will stir things up, his personality mean he will not agreed to it. He will probably come out and start attacking Moyes...etc and damage MU's team morale and spirit 3. They can still get £30-£35m for him now, next year he will be £25m max, maybe even less if his form is horrible this season 4. He is actually one of their best player, and their best ST behind RVP 5. He is England's darling, all the newspaper would torment MU just about EVERY WEEK if it happens 6. RVP will probably be injured soon, doubt they would let Chicha/Welbeck starts ahead of Rooney
-
It is coming guys! Wait until this Sunday for the final confirmation that Rooney is not in squad for game against Wigan. He will then be pretty much our.
-
This time the bonus is a lot as well, around £3m straight cash. Agreed, by then Lewandowski is a free agent and if we offer him like £250k per week he might be able to be persuaded to join. Who knows if he still want to move to Bayern next year, actually since he is worth around £40m anyway and if we are getting him on a free, we could just offer him like £5-£10m as signing on bonus and still have a bargain on our hand providing he keeps his form up. Who knows, other top strikers might be available as well, Ibra might want to leave after failing to win over Cavani/Falcao might move if Monaco fail to comply with FFP...etc And all sort of other possibilities, this is like Modric back then. If we don't sign Rooney now we will probably never do it again.
-
At first yes but eventually it will get to a point where one of those will be regular and the other will be bench warmer, rotation is not gonna be happening continuously forever. Kaka/Ozil are examples, Thiago Motta/Stankovic at Inter a few years ago and other situations... Of course only one out of 3 will start the big games and others will be on the bench then eventually one of them will start to get unhappy. The only thing is gonna keep rotation working is they are all on amazing form every time they come on to the field, which as we know won't happen. I think out of 3 places only 1 player nailed his place and that is Hazard. Atm the other 2 starting places would probably go to Mata and Kevin, with Oscar/Moses and Schurrle fighting to disrupt these 3. Of course Schurrle can only play LW/best at LW and Moses at RW so Oscar would slot into the middle. It is almost as if Oscar is back up for Kevin, Schurrle is back up for Hazard and Moses is back up for Mata.
-
Then it might be ironic but Kevin might just overtake Mata's place in the team himself
-
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8855484/sky-sources-manchester-united-reject-second-30m-bid-from-chelsea-for-wayne-rooney imo, I would offer a final of £35m+ £5m add-on and make it into a take it or leave it offer. The £5m will be activated if we win CL/he score more than 25 goals...etc
-
It already over took the Cavani total package if Rooney demands more than £200k per week which I think he will.
-
Erm that is a bit too far, Hazard is atm one of the top 50 players in the world, Kevin is not even close...yet
-
This guy got a lot of potential, even more than Oscar imo. Also he seems like he is really out to prove a point this season, he worked hard in every single match he has been in for us this preseason. He is a bit like Ramires but slower and are better technically. He can attack well, not the flashy type of Hazard and not as good but he can also defend well when required. Even though he seems small his stamina is quite good. If he can stay clear of injuries, he could be better than Wilshere imo.
