  1. It is on their official website.
  2. It is not an option, winning or come very close to winning BPL this season is a must in order for Jose's first season to be considered anything but a failure, of course we could win CL and still consider it a success...etc but BPL is the priority for the board atm.
  3. Decent these 2 matches, nothing amazing though. Don't think he is ready to be our no1 yet, need someone like Rooney/Suarez to lead the line with Lukaku as back up. Really need to work on his ball control, good pace but decision making and ball control has been very poor in these 2 matches.
  4. Doesn't seem to look bothered one bit in these 2 matches, hopefully this isn't the attitude he shows in the season because he got the potential to be one of our best player if not the best. I believe him and Mourinho can have a good time.
  5. So a thread about one of our best player this pre-season has turned into a politic thread.
  6. No because Hazard is more popular than Kagawa and Beckham doesn't want to come here.

  8. In all honest this actually look about right and probably will happen
  9. And it only happened like 2 months ago as well haha before anyone come in and say this was done when he was at his best.
  10. He was up to it last season but was not even given a chance to fight by Sir Alex, he was just dumped from his favorite position because RVP couldn't play any where else. I think he is thinking the same will be happening this season with Moyes in charge so he wants to move. Apparently Moyes told him that he is just back up to RVP and wouldn't guarantee to play at ST, pretty much same situation with Thiago Alcantara earlier this summer. I agree, 5 years ago these 2 wouldn't even be comparable. RVP was just a decent striker but injury prone back then, no one would pay £15m for him because at most of the time he was injured while Rooney wasn't even for sale at £50m. To be fair Drogba pretty much dominated any striker we signed because our system is designed to fit him in. Kezman, Sheva, Mutu, Pizzaro, Torres...ect just didn't fit in and Sheva was injury prone so he didn't really put up much of a fight, he just accepted defeat partly because he couldn't fight. I think the club was getting ready to get rid of Drogba from 2011 when we signed Torres but it never worked out for him.
  11. Yeah I think personally RVP is better than Rooney too, but at the time there wasn't that much of a gap. RVP scored 31 goals, Rooney scored 27 goals in BPL, I wouldn't say 4 goals is a massive difference so at the time RVP was automatically chosen to be no1 ST because he couldn't be as effective any where else, unlike Rooney who can play CAM/CM so Sir Alex put him there. I don't think he want to leave MU because he want more money/hate Sir Alex or Moyes, he just want to be no1 ST, not midfielder.
  12. He is not, HE IS NOT BEING GIVEN A FAIR CHANCE AT HIS FAVORITE POSITION, ST. Remember how RVP was signed and Rooney was immediately dropped into CAM then CM role? He thought that was unfair on him, especially since he just had an amazing season personally, being one of the choice for the best striker in world 11. Also it is his ego, sometime it is not necessary a bad thing, look at Ronaldo, he is as ego there is but he is very good he justified his personality. Rooney wasn't given the same chance, he was kicked out just because RVP was signed even though he showed no sign of decline.
  13. Arsenal is a selling club, it is pretty clear over the year. If this was the end of 2003-04 season, Arsenal would have never sold RVP for £50m, let alone £24m. MU actually wanted to get rid of Veron as soon as possible, he was a total flop like Sheva and we fell for it. Of course MU wouldn't sell to City, not one of their best player anyway just like Barca/Madrid. Of course he would need to push for it, hand it an official transfer request like RVP did and actually go on strike...etc(which I think he will do eventually if we offered MU £25-£30m, him £3m as signing on fee and make up for his lost bonus and a long term contract on £200k per week min)
  14. If Arsenal is bidding for him, surely we should jump in too? And if his 'ambition' talk is real, he would know where to choose.
  15. Actually Fellaini and Baines are pretty good themselves, Baines is one of the best LB in BPL and Europe in recent years and Fellaini is pretty good as well. But yes I agree them signing Fabregas would help us.
  16. Tell that to people who think Suarez is a cunt and is not wanted here. No ibra, no Rooney, no Suarez.
  17. Or the well known striker is Jovetic who just confirmed that he is joining City.
  18. This is soooo similar to Fabregas saga, only difference is that it was his former club while with Rooney it would be new. Remember how Xavi, Iniesta, Valdes and just about every Spanish person in Barcelona heap praise on him and tell the media how they all wanted him home. The same is happening with Rooney, from Cech, Mark, Hazard and even Mourinho himself.
  19. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/transfer-news-manchester-united-baffled-by-wayne-rooney-stance--but-seek-cleartheair-talks-with-the-chelsea-target-8718371.html WOW HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA
  20. Arsenal offered £30m then £35m and was rejected. He won't go for anything less than £40-£50m.
  21. Alright I see, when you said end of I thought you meant that he will not be sold haha my bad There is no other option, Suarez is the only top class forward left available and he would cost £45m MIN. Also Rooney doesn't want to hand it the transfer request because he would lose his bonus of around £3m.
  22. Loving how you underrated every single new signing City made this summer hahahaha. Fernandinho destroyed us in CL, Navas have been one of Spain's best player in the last 2 major tournaments+ consistently prove it over the year in Spain. Negredo scores min of 20-25 goals in his last 2-3 years and if he was in Serie A, he would cost like £40-£50m like Cavani. Jovetic is very good, you don't get the attention of Chelsea, Real Madrid, City, Juventus if you are not that good.
  23. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/e/everton/3822981.stm then 2 months later... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2004/aug/24/newsstory.sport6 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2013362/Cesc-Fabregas-Samir-Nasri-staying-Arsenal-says-Arsene-Wenger.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/tottenham-hotspur/2419006/Tottenham-Dimitar-Berbatov-not-for-sale.html and countless other examples...Of course sometime they actually manage to resist like Modric to us...etc but at the end of the day if Rooney wanted to leave, he will be sold.
