From the moment we have the mindset that we cannot get out of CL group stage we are fucked. That won't be good enough for a team like us, getting out of the group stage is A MUST. Actually imo we should at least finish in QF unless we draws Bayern/Barca/Madrid/Dortmund in the last 16.

The only thing really are separating us from Madrid/Bayern/Barca is that they got world class players in every line, they got best in the world midfielders, defenders and attackers. While we got one of the best attacking midfield, our defend is just about decent imo and CDM is also lacking a top class player but Van Ginkel can grow to that and become one. We really have real issues with striking department when 2 are not good enough and one got potential but not ready.

Then we got nothing to disagree about, I have also always said we need to sign someone like Rooney and I am using this match to back up my point. I couldn't careless about the result itself. But I think the striker issue need to be taken a little bit more seriously, we are downplaying it too much when it is a major problem.

When we were still lacking it and end up signing Mata and go on to win the double. Last season we barely won the Europa league because we met 2nd rate teams, if not it is just as bad as 10/11 season. So now we need to fix it.

Think they have sold Bale to Madrid for £100m, now expect them to announce 4-5 new signings in the next few days before letting Bale go. Will be a big force to be reckon with especially since they got a great eye for talented cheap players like Dembele, Vertonghen...etc Capoue imo is really someone we could of got to replace Mikel/Lampard and he is not even that expensive.

There are only 3 top class strikers left on market atm in the form of Suarez, Rooney and Lewandowski. Lewandowski is staying then move to Bayern next summer which leaves us with 2 targets left. Now neither will come cheap and each have different positive/negative aspects. Even all the half decent strikers have been grabbed up this summer, I think we are a bit too late. There was a time when Negredo, Jovetic, Soldado, Llorente, Tevez was all on the market and we left them.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest living player of all time is replaceable. Luiz is nothing compare to him. Maybe the only player that is truly irreplaceable atm is Messi because no one can score 50+ goals every season like he does.

It is understandable, obviously at any club there will always be fans who are against selling our good players at any cost because of his connection with the club, but the more knowledge fans can see a bigger picture. No body was born to play for Chelsea as you said, only what they do matter. Just like 3-4 years ago Essien was one of the best in his position, I bet at the time many would say he is not for sale at any price too. Now look at him, no one gives a tosh anymore about him after 1-2 years. Same will happen with Luiz, if he doesn't do spectacular stuffs and defend averagely next season, a bid of like £25m comes in and I am sure the majority would take it even though it is impossible to imagine now.
