Well it is obvious that they are not confident he is gonna stay. You don't want to put the face of someone on an ad then see him leave 2 weeks later and embrace yourself. This is almost the same as when he left MU in 2004, the only difference is this time he is more calm and isn't hating on Moyes as much as back then.
-
Desperation, also at the time the hate mainly come from a rivalry point of view. At Arsenal forum they are all dieing to see Suarez signed even though they bash him a lot during the racism and biting incidents.
-
Willian is a right winger, he can also play on the left and as a CAM, he is versatile. Yeah Moses is probably on like £40-£50k, Willian would want maybe £70-£100k. Like I said, if we were selling Moses and get Willian for the fee I mentioned then we can get a great deal. Moses have been up and down, I wouldn't call it excellent yet but rather decent.
-
Just hypothesizing, on theory we are getting rid of a player for a better one. We are not even remotely interested in Willian I don't think so it is just my cent, I am not saying we need to sell Moses. But don't tell me you are not willing to sell one of our player for a better one?
-
If we could sell Moses for £10m to some where like Everton and get Willian for £20-£25m than imo we have a bargain. The problem is I don't think he will agree to drop his wages, I think he must be on like £150k atm.
-
until the end of this month when he will play again for us or them because MU is not going to throw away £12m a year for nothing and risk losing out up to £20m for a crap 12 months of service from him.
-
He is kind of just praising him though, didn't even mention anything about his situation atm to be fair

-
Either way he hasn't came out to deny or confirm anything unlike before when he usually laughs off the rumors after a few days. The only thing we know is that Barca's bid is real and first bid has been rejected by the club. Kind of the same with Bale and Rooney atm, keeping quiet and suddenly being ''injured''.
-
He did, before I remember it was something like ''Professional football player of Chelsea'' or something like that.
-
Luiz have took Chelsea off his Twitter bio, suspicion yet? I think we need to be prepare to lose him now, don't get too emotionally attached to him and then be disappointed. Actually it is a litte bit serious now, he took Chelsea off everything about his bio. https://www.facebook.com/DavidLuizOfficial/info?ref=ts https://twitter.com/DavidLuiz_4

From the moment we have the mindset that we cannot get out of CL group stage we are fucked. That won't be good enough for a team like us, getting out of the group stage is A MUST. Actually imo we should at least finish in QF unless we draws Bayern/Barca/Madrid/Dortmund in the last 16.
-
The only thing really are separating us from Madrid/Bayern/Barca is that they got world class players in every line, they got best in the world midfielders, defenders and attackers. While we got one of the best attacking midfield, our defend is just about decent imo and CDM is also lacking a top class player but Van Ginkel can grow to that and become one. We really have real issues with striking department when 2 are not good enough and one got potential but not ready.
-
Then we got nothing to disagree about, I have also always said we need to sign someone like Rooney and I am using this match to back up my point. I couldn't careless about the result itself. But I think the striker issue need to be taken a little bit more seriously, we are downplaying it too much when it is a major problem.
-
Yeah he can do something out of nothing, he is that good.
-
It is just a wake up call that is all. Of course this game is meaning less, but from it we can see some of the problems and we can do something about it like striker department for example. It have always been well documented it needs fixing(signing a top class striker) but in the last few matches we haven't really been challenged well enough and so the problem temporarily fades away. Now we need to sign a striker again after it resurfaces. Remember 10/11? At the start when everyone said we lacked creativity? We didn't care and looked what happened eventually, remember 11/12? When we were still lacking it and end up signing Mata and go on to win the double. Last season we barely won the Europa league because we met 2nd rate teams, if not it is just as bad as 10/11 season. So now we need to fix it.
-
Oh you haven't seen panic yet, wait until the season starts and our strikers struggle then you will know what panic is. Actually last year was a pretty good example but it seems you haven't learn anything from it.
-
Apparently some shit sources says that Luiz has agreed a move to Barca. I doubt it is true but if it is we all should be prepared, don't fall into the trap of saying he is our forever to keep and then when he go all of you would start to bash him like this mercenary can fuck off or go fuck himself or something like that. If he does go we should all be thanking him for his service these last 2 years and the amount of money he will bring to us which will be A LOT if he is sold.
-
Everyone still licking Lukaku? If he can't do anything in a friendly what do you think he will be able to do in a CL game against these teams? Just showed why we needed a striker because Lukaku is just potential, he is not gonna shine in most big games. Ba and Torres are just useless. Now we must bid for Suarez if Rooney bid fails. I am sure Liverpool would accept £45-£50m and prefer to sell him to us than Arsenal.
-
Who said he doesn't want to go? We don't know yet, kind of a coincidence he pick up an injury on the day the bid was official...
-
Ramos is better than Luiz was and ever will be, just because he doesn't score 30 yards free kick and long ranges doesn't mean he doesn't have as much potential.
-
Well hate to break it to you but with FFP we aren't in a time where we go and spend £100m Roman's cash if we wanted anymore. He said defender, not CB isn't he? And if by mean defender then a lot are better than Luiz atm
-
AND WHO IS SAYING WE WANT HIM TO GO? Everyone who said he can be sold is SAYING THAT HE SHOULD BE SOLD IF HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE HERE ANYMORE AND A GOOD OFFER COME IN. No body said HE MUST BE SOLD NOW.
-
£60m trolololol, if they offered that I would drive him to Barca myself. You lost it when you said he is TOP 3 IN THE WORLD, Thiago Silva? Ramos? Pique? Lahm? Vidic? and countless others...
-
Exactly, Moyes always do this and it hardly ever work, but that was at Everton though. Now he is at MU. Also his words seem to have twisted a little bit, he just came out and said he shouldn't need to convince anyone to play for MU and that he hasn't spoken to Rooney at all about his future, contrary to reports. Imo I think we will bid £40m and get him on deadline day
