not surprising at all. In addition to sassy, cute and adorable, you're smart as hell Love the avatar... I lost the link to that episode... can you share again?
-
I miss your cuteness, adorableness and sassy! It sucks to get it stolen, anyway, I sent you a couple of messages on your both numbers to wish you a great 2016, to say I miss you and to get news on you. How was your exams?

Ramires really needs to be subbed off. Today is one of those matches when he forgets the brain in the dressing room.
-
it doesn't get easier than that. Thank you! Didn't know the code for mentioning have changed
-
@Dion Love, I think you've changed Whatsapp numbers and I don't have it. I miss you! send me in a PM pls

Jim - two functions the old forum had that are missing, the first one being really missed: - autoupdate of posts done while you're writing yours. I know there's a option to click to show the XX new posts, but while you're writing, it's a pain to stop every other time while writing (if you see it at all) to update the new posts and it's even more annoying to have to refresh the page after you post. I really hope you can bring that feature back - we can't mention people straight from selecting a part of their post. It was so easy instead of having to write the whole code (sometimes I forget the code tbh). Now we can only quote the part of the post we select - which is a pretty neat feature. Maybe we could have a button in the menu post instead? This is just a luxury actually, but the first point is really nice because match threads have too many posts at the same time and we have to keep refreshing instead of seeing it all.

he said many times, he won't be here any further than the end of the season. Actually he even gave a vibe that he might retire after it. I don't know how many times more he needs to say he won't continue for people to start believing it...
-
Sad to say it - especially against a team in the third division. But Chelsea played really up until we scored. Then we were slowly (and then not so slowly anymore) we started to faded, comfortable with a bloody 1-0 lead against a 3r division team!!!!!! Ugh!

Zouma is so sexy

which breath? It doesn't make any sense for anyone be on him if he's an interim. His only pressure is to improve our position in the EPL. I agree on the last part though. This is probably us playing safe to try to save some of the season by maybe winning FA Cup. We'll play FAC as if it was UCL - which for me personally, doesn't add to anything. I'd rather we use a rare chance of having a season without any sort of ambition to introduce more youth - and that's coming from someone who isn't invested in youth like most here.
-
As much as our situation is dire, panic signings won't do us any good. We don't have many ambitions this season, our squad needs leaders more than fresh and competent legs right now. Let's see if we find it within ourselves to regroup and scrap something from a dead season. With an interim, a director of football supposedly doing the signings and a team likely to not play UCL next season, the wiser thing to is hope and pray for a good summer, where we can spend the huge amount from the TV deal (although every other English club will have the same at their hands). For now, I can only see some leadership being brought - at most.

I just said things that were reported in the media and by the committee - which I don't remember the name. Chelsea and Dr. Carneiro have been mentioned by the media and the committee by the decisions made on pitch, if you guys don't remember I can't help. Also, I'm talking things from a legal perspective. I never said her dismissal was fair, I never took sides with Mourinho on this feud. I may have disapproved how she reacted, but then again, I'm not the one feeling what she was, so it's easy for me to judge her on that. All my points are about her having chances to win this case or not. I think they're slim exactly because the club can allege many things. I think people on this thread have comprehension issues. I said many times what the club's lawyers can use as a reason to demote her temporarily from her position and still people are reading my posts as if I said she should have been demoted. Deserve and getting it done within law permissions are two completely different things. I'm done with trying to talk the same thing over and over again. No circus made by the media compares to the one made here. Well, I think we'll have to wait and see. They can allege that enough is enough and that it was damaging the club's image and all that BS lawyers can come with and that we know they will.
-
Since when lawyers do? The club can allege many things for her demotion and have the whole episode be just the last straw. Things is people on media and in the committee that watches over head injuries more than once questioned her decisions on the pitch and in a couple of them - Courtois and Oscar irrc - she opted for them staying on the pitch only for them to be subbed off some minutes later. My point is, the club can give a thousand reasons for her demotion. Mourinho isn't her direct boss, his wish along wouldn't get her demoted alone, it was a decision from the club and they can present whatever reasoning they please. What I said is the only public things we have access, they can cite many other internal things that may have happened or not. That's the point. Mourinho was disrespectful and wrong on his actions, but I read somewhere any costs from the suing case against him will be handled by the club. That case she has big chances imo, the constructive dismissal she just doesn't.
-
I think the club can easily say she was demoted because of questionable decisions in the 18 months prior to the José-gate. She has been questioned including by the doctors committee or whatever over some of her assessments. A couple of times she cleared players to come back playing after head injuries, only for them to be subbed not long after. Of course, in the episode everything happened she has a right, but the club can easily say she was bringing bad publicity in the execution of her job in a way no other doctors have brought to their clubs in the meanwhile. The demotion also included another person, so she can't exactly say it was personal. I think she'll be left empty hands suing the club, but she might get some pay-off for the case against Mourinho.

I'm not a big fan of the whole thing either - layout wise, but I think the functions actually improved... I do dislike this you mentioned, but I disliked the layout overall. I liked the old one better. But maybe we just need time to get used to it? another thing bugging me is the quality of the avatars now. It seems like a re-size kind of thing, as if the server is re-sizing it in a way that it loses quality because some kept their quality, but most lost it, it looks blurred and downright bad looking...

and why would any of them, let alone more than one - would come here? WE won't play UCL, we aren't one of the big guys and we don't have a clue who our manager will be, but with Pep already in Manchester basically, there aren't any big games that would attract people here. I don't think our spending policy will revert to what it was back when Roman bought the club, so we won't be spending more than City for example. We don't have a powerhouse name like United has, two of those players are already in the biggest club of the world (even if not the best). I don't know, but people are forgetting two important things when they talk about selling one of the few real talents we have here: 1) we aren't attractive as other clubs; 2) there aren't many good talents in general, much less looking or willing to do a move (a downgrade for most of them). That's not to mention we aren't the big spenders we used to be, but I won't write this on stone because if Roman decides for it, he'll spend a crazy amount again. There's no reason why we should sell Hazard. He's going through a slump, the season's prospects we have won't offer him much motivation to find his best form. Let the guy be, it's better for him to have an off season when we suck, rather than we really need him to achieve success and glory. We don't stand a chance at all in UCL, FAC is irrelevant for a player to play out of his mind for. So, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Also Hazard >Varane and definitely Hazard>Isco. Maybe James could be the same level, and Reus is a suicidal signing. He spends way too much time injury, which makes him a liability.
-
He was very good indeed. He had a couple of games when he wasn't up to the level he's been showing this season, but that's more than acceptable, expected and natural. It must tire to carry the whole team for four damn months. He was very effective, lively and that goal was a piece of art and power. Hot stuff. He was more direct indeed, facing opponents off. A lot is said about CP missing their key attack players, but we were very comfortable taking their defense - that as far as I know, was sort of the usual.... Willian certainly proved me wrong, completely, and I love every second of it.
-
How many times has been said he needs some great displays around him to shine? Cesc decline started with Matic's, I can't of course, say the latter caused the former, but fact remains, if he has a reliable pivot player playing alongside him, or if he's in a 4-3-3 with decent coverage for him, he'll shine. I don't think we should sell him, I think he can still do many things for us. He doesn't play in big games - in a 4-2-3-1 he definitely doesn't, who knows in a 4-3-3 - but we have been discussing this on Kev's thread, players can win us titles or contribute for them even without performing in big games. If we have a more suitable player for those games, we'll play them. I believe Cesc has space in the team, and he was very good today.

first - you are; second, my reputation/credibility on TC is on the same movement as Oscar's... so yeah... not that popular these days

The main page doesn't have stars, bubbles or whatever so when I click on a thread instead of automatically going to first unread post, it goes to the last page. This feature (automatic first unread post) is the most important in a forum imo. Some threads I spend a long time without visiting, I'm now on vacation which means I'm more active, but when I got back to work in two weeks this feature will save my forum experience. Some threads just add many pages quickly, so please, can we get the automatic thing instead of the star? Especially because the star isn't available in the main page. Also there's no way to delete the notifications as far as I can say and I like to delete mine all the time (OCD)

My MOTM although Mikel deserves a mention and so does Zouma and Willian. We need Diego more than we need anyone else. When he's up there playing football, he's essential for us because he scores goals. He didn't even move his eyes from the ball and the goal in the assist for Oscar and I guess that's what surprised the most the goalie and his marker. He only ever looked to Oscar after he passed. He was smart, he was focused, his movement was marvelous and even his 1x1 plays today - which we know is hit or miss - were mostly great. I say we need him more than anyone else for his scoring ability, but also because he fires up the whole team. His never-ending pressing and dedication, he demands others around him to do the same. The old Diego isn't the most technical striker around, there are many others better than him in that aspect, but he's a hell of an effective player that can change a team around with the right attitude because it's contagious and also because - as I said - he fires everyone up. I'm very happy the fans chanted his name many times in the match. He needs the love, he's an emotional, passionate player, he will always need this kind of support to reach his best. Not among the players I want to see gone, even if he clearly had problems performing for/under Mourinho lately. As I said, emotional guy...
-
Yep, been overly criticizing of him. He's done much better already than I thought he would. Well, I guess I was blinded by my dislike for interim managers... he's done well for us. Keep it up, Guus

It'll grow on me - I'm a changes lover, but this reminds me so much of the Chrome style of things and I'm an old-fashioned Firefox kind of girl, but it'll grow on me. I have one complaint, when you posted in threads that had many posts (like matches thread) you'd see all of the posts submitted between the last you've seen and your post. Now I have many options there, and I clicked all of them and none showed me the way I wanted - which is when I post, I want to see all posts in the thread. Now I just see the last I saw when I started writing and mine. Everything between is suppressed and I have to reload the page. I like the live notifications, but for the love of God, where can I take the sound off? My computer, ipad, mobile, are all mute 100% of time. I hate notification sounds, ringtones, etc... already found how to fix it

Also, nice to see the Brazilians bringing dividends, and that has not to do with me bring Brazilian. We have a heavily Brazilian-featured squad, so it's positive when we had three of them scoring and assisting (it seems like Willian was still credited an assist to Costa's goal). Willian and Costa were amazing, and Oscar only had a goal and an 'assist' (as that was just another pass to the marvelous shot Willian took), but a bad performance. Surely, we could talk about Spanish too -especially if you consider Costa Spanish - which is another heavy group of players in the squad. It's nice to have this resurgence. Hope there's more to come from all over the squad. My commentator called Brazilian storm, lol
