  1. Henrique, I'm not saying it was anything special in itself, I'm saying we showed improvement in how we played and for me the biggest testament of that is how quiet all those threads are. If we had won, but had showed the same horror show, there were comments everywhere diminishing the win. As that's not the case, everyone is quiet. I mean, this is a forum and the main idea here is discussion and I get it, but does it actually hurt to celebrate wins and better performances? It seems it does hurt people's egos.
  2. he said things related to it all the match. That the players aren't happy during training sessions and it's reflecting in the pitch. They aren't happy with Mourinho but aren't trying to get him sacked - they just don't know how to overcome this moment. The comment about Mourinho talking too much was right in the beginning - under 10 minutes or even 5 minutes (if you can catch a replay).
  3. at least this thread I expected to be more lively... I guess the joke is on me. He was amazing today, what we got used to in the last couple of seasons - especially the last one. I hope he's here to stay.
  4. post-match thread quiet, Mourinho's thread quiet. Come on, TC, stop being predictable!!!! I saw a lot of improvement today. People say it's not enough, that we should be playing like that against Norwich and I'm not denying any of that, the thing is we've been so far from playing good football, regardless of the opposition, that although not anything amazing in itself, that was a big step in the right direction. The team actually looked drilled, pressed well at some moments, we were conscious in our attacking moves. We must carry on and I think a bigger scoreline was needed to face Spurs with better spirits, but one thing at a time. Maybe we'll do that at Maccabi - we should honestly, even if the game is in Israel. I have more safety concerns about that match than about our performance. The bias though is annoying. My commentator couldn't shut his trap saying the players weren't training well because they were unhappy and upset with the players, then he praised a lot Hazard, Willian and Fabregas, but said Mourinho made a selection mistake with their positioning, stating all kind of shit when they were interchanging most of the game. There's no winning for Mourinho in the media, or here, no matter what. Hazard has been brilliant, but my MOTM goes to Fabregas. I feel he's the player who's fighting for Mourinho (the problem is, he isn't a fighting player in the pitch, being more cerebral than anything else). But I'm just happy for Hazard and Fab. Diego needs to improve and be happier. He seems very unhappy and it isn't clear with it's only with himself or with others too. Didn't celebrate his goal, went out off the tunnel really quickly after the match was over. I think Matic had ups and down, Kenedy is a better FB than Iva, Baba and Zouma. Iva ruined our attack on occasions, but was sort of okay defending. But why not play Azpili instead of Iva if Kenedy is in the LB? Our defense wasn't tested enough, there weren't absolutely solid, but I don't think they compromised either. And Arsenal lost, so that's a good weekend - and I honestly don't get the quiet threads. Although predictable, it's also sad.
  5. Kenedy is definitely our second best FB - only behind Azpili. this is how dire the others who played there looked
  6. Fabregas has been running the show   And Hazard has been brilliant - although much better in the first. I feel hope sneaking in
  7. Fabregas' assist, Diego goal, we looking decent in attack. It's almost like good times last season. I really like the supporting Mourinho gets from the fans, because they're there for this, but can they show ANY kind of support to the players who are working their arses off to get over this terrible moment? It certainly discouragse them a little bit not to have their names shouted too, it's like only Mourinho gets the credit for anything good we do. Unlucky Happy there.
  8. come on. We played shitty football against even relegation sides... clueless, badly drilled, vulnerable and today we actually look like a team who will score at any given time. I feel it'll happen. We're playing well, that's the best thing I could ask now. If we start playing better, we'll build momentum, something we haven't yet because we've got sort of lucky results.
  9. if only Costa also caught up with the resurrection...
  10. maybe the team needed a break from fuckery and bad environment. Most players were off and now things must be better because we actually looked really good.
  11. normally they do, but I don't feel today it will.
  12. oh, so they can finish the game the moment it reaches the stoppage time mark, and we have a corner, but when opposition is attacking us they'll add 45 seconds. Okay then.
  13. what the actual fuck!!!!! how did he miss it?
  14. he's not playing through the middle. Our three AMs are rotating a lot. His best plays imo have been through the wings.
  15. just shoot on the fucking goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. must be said, this is the Hazard we know and love. He's on fire, focused, working hard, inspired. Everything we could ask for
  17. brilliant from Hazard, but where the hell are the players in the box, especially Diego?
  18. we look like we actually know what we're doing - which is a great progress as normally we look clueless. Commentator keeps saying things about the training sessions. He's said many times no one is trying to take Mourinho down. The environment is bad and they've been trying really hard to fix it, but our training sessions aren't good because players aren't happy with Mou.
  19. Commentator - who supposedly talked to the Brazilians players in the international break - said they're unhappy with Mourinho saying different things to them and then the media (Hazard comments he stupidly made when he benched him comes to mind) and that because of that they can't train as well as they did. Nobody is trying to sabotage Mourinho on purpose. According to him it's difficult to play well when you don't train well and you don't train well because you can't stand or have problems the guy bossing you around. In theory this is one of the most reliable journalists in Brazil, I doubt he'd lie, but he's been making predictions about Mourinho's career for a couple of years now - all of which backfired when we were champions last season (one of his strongest claims was that Mourinho didn't have it in here to win big things anymore). It seems he holds a grudge against Mou for some reason. So make of it what you want.
