And pochetti completely ditched them from the team... Not just for a game or 2. Kane is on a team where he can grow, with very little expectations. No one put the spurs in the top 4 category. Bamford, even as a 3rd striker would have huge expectations, like remy has played this season and even ba last season, ther 3rd striker role will become significant.

You guys watch the derby game. I thought Everton was absolute shit. Lukaku couldn't see the ball and their midfield was terrible. However, with the introduction to Lennon on the right side, that might be problematic with his pace.. Having both lennon and coleman attacking hazard/azpi might be problems...Both have fantastic pace and both love to go forward... I kind of wish Ramires alongside cesc and give matic a well deserved rest.

For a guy that never started on Chelsea, you sure are confident... It's ironic, because people always made arguments that Oscar was the one that could control games and Mata was the one that couldn't.

Yes, Jose really gives youth a chance....... Tell that to an unbaised fan. Jose and youth are total opposites... At tottenham, guys like mason, bentalab, kane, dier are all getting signficant gametime... THe spurs had the youngest starting 11 this season...... Actually, people said lukaku was good enought for backup because of his good goal rate during his loan spans. People said lukaku wasn't good enough to start at chelsea. 2 different things.... Bamford is not good enough for Jose as a 3rd striker. Looked at who chelsea's 3rd striker was during Jose's era. Demba Ba Remy And now you are proposing Bamford... You see what the difference is...
-
Are you serious. Jose dropped an old carvalho and an injured pepe, who was proned to doing rash things...Varane didn't start over a healthy pepe, he started because pepe was injured and kept his placed because of the good results... Cahill still starts games and unless zouma plays the rest of the season as starter, your argument is invalid. Bamford not starting in the premiere league at his age is not the same thing as Drogba. Drogba didn't play academy football as a kid and isn't from England, Bamford is. He needs to go to a premiere league side, than maybe he can play as the 3rd striker...

Koke not a cam. Isco is a good possibility, however, he has been nonexistent since his move to madrid and lost out to james already in the depth chart. Also, in terms of passing ability/creativity,dribbling isco is probably better than james, yet james starts and isco doesn't. the thing with that is that you might want that, but is that what Jose wants as his first priority? Seriously though, I can see only Modric as the upgrade to oscar on this squad. Algeria almost beat germany.

i was waiting for you to use the harry kane reason.... Kane is the exception, not the norm. and kane plays for a manager that dropped his veterans for young kids... That my friend is not the makeup of Jose Mourinho. Players' always have an option. Schurrle had an option as did mata and lukaku and luiz.

Neither remy nor costa really have a hold up game as well. However, having aubameyang can help in the counter attack game and allow depth in the back three positions as well. His pace would be second to none on the squad and in the league. also, wrong bender meant I meant the wrong bender.

I think no one will ever complain about hazard because of his dribbling ability.... So, both oscar and hazard can do the same mistakes, however, hazard is the one that can create more chances via dribbling, so, no one will ever remember slopping passing or losing possession.
-
Exactly, anyone that knows liverpool/countinho knows he has been in and out of the starting lineup more often than not, even with the loss of suarez and the injuries to daniel.
-
to replace oscar in jose's team? Yes, only Modric... Pogba potentially, however, i don't see pogba as a cam. A tactically incompetent manager that got you further in any tournament in how many years?
-
In what circumstances would you choose to miss a Chelsea game?
Oscar replied to LAB's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Reading this makes me realize how hardcore you guys are... -
is that why belgium is such a good team or why Hazard is such a great player on Belgium national team. Modric and that is it. Not cesc, not hazard, but only Modric.
-
So, because remy started that game the argument is null and void right? Maybe, drogba having more starts and appearances doesn't matter... DD is an african product. Not someone from England, that began playing in an academy at a young age. Bamford is no way going to get the 3rd spot in the CF rotation. Traore played really wel in the preseason campaign too, so you think he's going to get an am spot next year? Players do what is best for them, not what is best for Chelsea. Signing is so they can have financial guarantees, so all their practice and hard work has its rewards. Thorgan understands the situation as do chelsea. They will look forward to having both hazard in the future, just not next season.
-
Remy can't even start over drogba. ....Bamford has never played top level football and is already 21. You would think he would get loaned out to a premier league side if he was ready. Players need to play games. Thorgan will not have that opportunity neither will probably both mvg and romeu. Players sign contracts because they want financial security.
-
MLS or Ligue 1?
-
Actually, remy would be 3rd striker and chelsea would bring in someone else to be diego's sub. So, yes, 20m for a backup to diego, who will be influential throughout the season. Why would Chelsea want to stunt the development of Thorgan, when he will get close to zero gametime next season and Romeu has been loaned out already to two different teams. They will do what is best for them, not best for Chelsea.
-
If lukaku was valuated as much as he was, how much is Kane going to be valuated?
-
Imbula would be a huge upgrade from Mikel....
-
Actually, it's not. Hazard is a crucial player to the squad as is Oscar. You say hazard is irreplaceable, but oscar isn't. However, chelsea looks a lot different when oscar doesn't play. You can see the huge difference, however, it could be due to the fact its always Mikel coming in to replace him... Obviously, Oscar needs to improve, however, Oscar to me sacrifices a lot for the team the same way he sacrificed himself a lot so Neymar could benefit from it... Oscar doesn't have the dribbling ability that either willian and hazard possesses, which is why a ton of people keep saying he can't play big games, however, by that thinking, Cesc should be replaced as well for ramires.
-
I agree. The current munich side when healthy is superior, however, the munich side he faced drew against schalke without Draxler and Huntleer. This munich side has a bastian who recently returned as well as alaba. Ribery still injured along with thiago and lahm and javi martinez.
-
4-0....... Koke injured, costa sold, thibo back to chelsea, luis sold. 4 points away from first place, from the team a lot of pundits (so called experts) calling the best team in the world...
-
And when Andre is banging in goals left and right at wolfsburg and getting his created chances stats and assists at a better rate than Hazard next season, will you say the same thing?
-
How has bamford earned a 3rd striker spot? Zouma is not going to come in as the second cb on the depth chart. However, the problem with CB is there arent many options available that are realistic. Why would Thorgan come back as 5th am and MVG or Romeu as 4th. Thorgan is improving and romeu has been loaned out so many times for no reason... wrong bender... Also, Aubameyang he can play cf and the wings when needed. Similar to remy, but a lot faster.
-
Not just oscar, but I think there is literally no way that bamford becomes the n3 striker and chelsea will leave the cb position the same. Also, the loanees coming back as consistent first team players because I dont think any of them will be next season.
