  1. What was Lampard thinking, could have been red.
  2. Oh dear, according to the Chelsea website we are sticking with the 4-3-3 with Ramires as a right winger
  3. I can't see it being a diamond with Mata as a striker, must be some kind of 4-2-3-1
  4. I won't be surprised if Ashley Cole suffers a career threatening injury becuase we play him so much. I'm serious. I'm really concerned we could be overplaying him and causing huge fatigue.
  5. I think thats just the most likely line up.
  6. -----------------Cech------------------------ Hutchinson----Luiz----Terry----Bertrand ------------------Romeu--------------- ----------Ramires--------Josh---------- -----Strurridge---Torres----Mata----------- Shame it will never happen
  7. Yea like OMGZ ITZ THE END OF TEH WORLDS!!!!1!11!!!
  8. I'm not going to get into too much detail but if we are going to blame the manager/players, the fans need to take some of the blame as well. I'm not going into detail but here are two things, both on and off the pitch that the fans could improve on to give a little bit of help 1. Actually produce an atmosphere at the Bridge - I'm sorry, but the last two games against Fulham and Villa was some of the worst support I have ever seen at the Bridge. It was so quiet and so dead that even the away fans seemed to be subdued by the lack of atmosphere. We seriously need to kick up it 8 or 9 notches to get the place rocking. The best thing it can do is at least put more pressure on the players to give a damn. We saw against City how it can hype the players up when the crowd is rocking 2. Cut the sentimental bullshit with some of the players. As seen around this forum, there is far too much sentiment to, let’s be honest, people kicking a ball around a pitch and earning £100,000 pounds for doing so. Anyone who criticises players like Lamaprd and Drogba for shit performances game after game is scorned for apparent "lack of respect". Yet it seems the only way to solve our problems is to get rid of the old guard so and bring youth to the squad. Yet some people cry foul when you dare mention the idea of selling someone like Drogba or Lampard. I'm sorry, but you can appreciate what they have achieved after they have left. But seeing them not give a damn and still getting paid week after week is unacceptable for me. And at the moment the only way to solve this is to get rid of them unless they can give more consistent performances that actually help us win points. So in my view some fans need to get over this idea that they should stay with us and plan for the future. No more angry outburst when criticising players occurs, no tears when people start thinking that some of the old guard leaves. Its best for the team and we can’t start until fans stop thinking of past glories and refusing to accept that many of the players we love are done. I seem to remember Bruce Buck saying that they did not want to sell Drogba because it would upset the fans (correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m sure I saw a report somewhere doing the summer) which is just frankly ridiculous.
  9. Its a shame about te mistake, becuase he was one of our most active players. But I don't know what he was thinking with the Petrov goal.
  10. If I were the manager, I would tell Fat Lampard to never come t Cobham again and find a new club.
  11. We should get at least £10 milion by selling Lampard.
  12. I want Lampard sold next month. Don't want to see himm on the pitch again.
  13. AVB you twat, Drogba and Torres together again!
  14. Meireles is not a flop, he's a decent squad player, and that's what we signed him for. If you were expecting a world class midfielder well, jokes on you.
  15. Why has Paulo changed number mid season? I guess that means Josh is on loan, either that or a stupid cock up
  16. Yes, one who can't score from an open net and another who is old and can't be bothered anymore. Tough challenge for him.
  17. Well if your so optimistic about him, saying he has scored against top opposition, then why does he keep playing in the reserves? If the club were so willing to pay a lot of money for him then why is he not getting more first team action? At the moment I'm confused at the board for buying him for that amount of money then deciding he is not ready for the first team. We buy Romeu, unkown at the time for £4,35 million at 19 years of age and now he is playing for the first team. While Lukaku, costing a lot of money and hyped as the new Drogba (somthing I cringe at) and he is just rotting at the bench. So I'm not convinced by his abilities until the club plays him more and he justifies why we paid that amount of money. We rightly criticize Torres for his form due to the amount of money we paid for him, so the same should apply for Lukaku, who frankly has the first touch of a donkey and poor agiility.
  18. You don't pay £18 million pound for just potential, then to have him rot in the reserves. Simple as that.
  19. Well I hope I'm bloody wrong. But there is a lot of similaritties with Carlton Cole. Was incredible strong and powerful at 18. Was doing well in the reserves and getting great hype in the media. But when it came to actual first team football he only had strength and now plays in the Championship. So I worry we are doing the smae with Lukaku.
  20. Yes, but loyalty does nott mean quality. I still take my stand that we have payed £18 million ppounds for a reserve player and someone who may be as only good as Carlton Cole.
