Well unfortunatly, my philosophy is that you appreciate a players contribution after he leaves the club. It sounds like people are willing to let him to underperform and not criticize it becuase of reputation. We should be focusing on the now and its vital that players try and preform well every game.

Again, its not becuase I'm ignorant to what he can contribute to the team. Its the fact that he is often too incosistant with his perfomances. He can have games like against Valencia for a few matches and then become a total liability on the pitch. I always cheer himwhen he deliver the goods ut always get frustrated when he plays shit yet some fans seem want everybody to not criticize him and not "disrespect him".

It shows that in stats (which you keep using yourself) that in terms of productivity this season they are on the same level, or that one of them has been slightly better this season. You seem to be very defensive on Drogba when someone has the audacity to not shower him with praise and worship him like god 24/7. I know that there has been complaints of the increase of Torres fanboys (and girls) who will defend him to the death. But you take the idea of fanboyism to a whole new level. You even get defensive when someone criticizes Lukaku becuase you have taken to the whole "he is the future Drogba" idea.

Actually, since your so keen on adding both goals and assists together, I just looked up this season. Drogba has scored 5 goals and got 1 assist, that means he got 6 points (shall we call them?) Torres has scored 4 goals and got 4 assists, that means he has got 8 points this season. Do you see the problem in your methodology?

Buts thats what I find so frustrating about Drogba. You know that he can perform like this, but bar two seasons he has never been consistant in this and often has periods where he goes missing or becomes a liability on the pitch.

For gods sakes your not using the lazy tactic of adding goals and assists together to try and boost and give some illusion that he has been magnificent. I know you have your mouth firmly wedge down Drogba's cock. But face it, he had an underperforming season and he is incosistant in his productivity.

I'll applaud him everytime he does well in a game. But its a bit hypocritical that we slate Torres 9even if rightly so) for every bad game but some seem to give Drogba a free pass for months of underperforming.

Drogba seems to have this unique charm and ability to perform brilliantly in one match and make people completly forget that for the last 16 months he has either been under average or just complete crap.

He is probably going to have to wait until the ACN starts before he starts and has a run of game again. It seems AVB has his front three sorted it seems.
