  1. In that case we are really scrapping the shit barrel.
  2. You have got to be fucking kidding me, first off those awards are given near the end of the season. Secondly, lets look at the season before February, while Lampard was constantly throwing temper tantrums and half the time giving "I don't give a shit" performances, who was one of the few players who were trying to be a leading light on the pitch., it was Juan Mata. He and Ramires were one of the few players who were consistent throughout the year and thats why they deserved the Player of the Year and Players player of the year award respectively. Lampard only started being a bit more better when Di Matteo went with a very DEFENSIVE 4-2-31 which covered Lampard's lost of pace and he could be more useful when we did complete back to the walls defending (case in point, I don't think he scored one goal in open play until two months ago). He did not suddenly carry the team, he was one of the players that were being carried. I really can't be bothered to debate with you anymore, it just goes along of the lins of me not giviing him 100% praise and you shaking your fist in anger and just repeating the same lines over and over again. Goodbye.
  3. I did not mean through out his Chelsea career, I was talking about last season if you actually read my post properly. Just because I'm a Chelsea fan does not mean I should actually just worship him and lose all sense of constructive analysis. And when I meant by fanboy I meant that a couple of people froth at the mouth in anger for someone to have the audacity to not worship him as the messiah.
  4. I will just ask one thing, by your perspective and views why has Lampard not won Chelsea player of the year, be nominated to win the Ballon d'or ect? Why do analyst not watch every performance he has given and declared them midfield masterpieces? Because the way you constantly orgasm over him you would think that his guy single handedly won us the CL and FA Cup and just gave 10/10 performances all the time, never makes mistakes *cough Aston Villa cough* and is always the answer to our problems. My god its hard to take you seriously since you seem to insult anyone that does not view Lampard as the messiah. And people think Torres fanboys are bad.
  5. This. And the last time we predominately used a 4-3-3 system under AVB he was not exactly one of our best players. He would have one good game, then 2-3 bad ones, get dropped, moan that he was not starting anymore, get put back in the game and have a good game, then have another 3-4 bad games and this cycle just kept repeating. Its pretty dire that one or two people believe that a 34 year old who is no way near the player he once was (and not to mention having managers who would always shaped the team to benefit the way he plays) is suddenly going to make our team better. These people just throw in the words "experience" and "leadership" as though it will be some scientific fact to suddenly winning games all the time and leave it there
  6. The biggest problem is Benitez's defensive mentality. It can be incredibly counter productive and just put the defense under huge pressure and leak goals in. Hence the horrible second half.
  7. I can understand that point, I thought you were going down the route (which is what some people claim when RDM won us the FA Cup and CL) that Lampard was one of the players that carried the team nearly single handily.
  8. Yeah, and our form did not start picking up until about Jan/Feb, weirdly a couple of games after we bought Torres and Luiz. But you could not honestly tell me he was the stand out star in any of the games for the rest of the season? Yes he would score a couple of penalties like against Man Utd or a fluke goal against Tottenham. But like a lot of our first team players that season he was only the half the player in terms of average performances. He just benefited that Carlo decided to have list of undroppables (along with the likes of Malouda and Essien) who started every gamer no mater how bad their form was.
  9. Hm... I seem to remember a couple of years ago we were going through the exact same run of form in November (during Carlo's last season) and Lampard was out with a long-term injury. Everyone was saying how much the team will improve when he came back. When he finally came back how much did he improve our form? Absolutely fuck all. So what makes people think that a now rapidly declining player will suddenly and magically make us world beaters again. Not to mention the fact that we don't play the team around his needs yet he still acts like he can make headless runs into the box every time the ball is one cm in the opposition half. How can you measure and quantify the effects of experience? Its just an abstract and ambiguous word people throw around on this board as some sort of scientific fact that will suddenly improve the team.
  10. This is only been done to try and sweeten the fans now that Rafa is the manager. Also, when will the loan happen? Baring n mind he goes off in January for the ACON
  11. Hiring Rafa as Chelsea manager is like watching your daughter do porn movies.
  12. Apparently on The Shed End forum someone has said that the club hate his attitude on the training ground and have wanted to get rid of him for quite a long time. Which would explain why RDM has hardly picked him for the starting 11.
  13. But what this season has also told us that the 4-2-3-1 formation is clearly not suited for Lampard. So unless Di Matteo changes formation (and even that is not certain to improve Lampard's performances) Do you try and shoehorn him and and make us even more vulnerable defensibly for sake of experience?
  14. Am I'm the only one that can't do nightclubs? My friends have dragged me to one 3 times this year and each time I could not enjoy myself as I kept thinking I'm going to suffocate or be crushed too death. Not to mention you can't enjoy a drink (or even order one properly) becuase you are constantly geting pushed around and spilling it everywhere (mainly on me) all the while listineng to ear shattering, shitty repetative music a 5 year old could compose. Whatever happened to going to a pub for a quite drink?
  15. I really wish he would light up at the thought of becoming a winger. He has all the good things needed, just needs a more humble attitude and better decision making. Do that and he can easily become one of the best wingers in the PL. The lone striking role is not for him in my honest opinion. He is much more suited and deadly on the wings. The board should get 2 strikers in January
  16. But your not helping when your glorifying everything he does to make it like its a world class performance rather then average? Isn't that piling on the pressure? And I highly doubt its a lack of composure when heehad a bit of time to make a decision and seems to have a natural bit source of (over?)confidence.
  17. No. I'm sorry, but you could have been out for 2 years, you should score from there (or at least hit the target), especially when its on your strongest foot!
  18. Al he has done is taken shots outside the box and most of the time when he tries wing play it comes to nothing.I know everyone is feeling that Torres is not doing his duties as a striker. But you would be a fool to glorify Sturridge and say that his performance has been anything better then average. Its not the case.
  19. Summary: Dominated the first half and if it were not a Luiz moment we would be leading. Bertrand and Cesar have been very good at FB. Both defensively and offensively (especially that peach of a cross by Cesar) Romeu is having a good game, looked comfortable with Mikel as his partner (but they do need to stick with Morrison more tightly to stop his influence. Hazard and Moses have been great, Torres and Sturridge not so great.
  20. Please Sturridge, don't take a shoot on site policy.
  21. So this line up will be all about width, so hopefully the fullbacks don't have to overlap too much giving us a more stronger defense.
  22. The thing is, if its dream to move to Madrid. Why did he not do it last summer. Madrid were one of the clubs interested signing him, instead of saying that he only wants to play in England, just say he wants to move to Madrid then its all done.
  23. Not going to happen. Simply because he would have to take a massive pay cut!
  24. And what is the criteria for that? Doing all the above as well as doing cartwheels every 5 minutes on the pitch whilst breathing fire?
